The Bozeman pond is a pretty big pond. That at one time was used as a gravel pit. Now it has a lot to offer anyone eager to get outside. And several amenities like picnic tables to sit at or eat lunch, also onsite trash containers, and bathrooms. The trails east of the pond offer spectacular bird sightings. Live bait works best. Lures guarantee trout, and flies work okay. A cool feature is the “island” which is a spot in the middle of the lake about a foot underwater.
