Hullabaloo Toys and Novelty Gifts — Local services in Bozeman

Great little toy shop with local (read Sky high) prices; and neat things you can't find at target - but completely unreasonable return policy - buyer beware!

I had to return a few things post Christmas due to some travel plans falling through unexpectedly.

Fine print on the receipt mentions several items that they will not take returns on - even if the items were untouched and/or never left the bag. Tabs still on, original receipt, writhin 30 days of purchase.

The lady gave me the "Covid" excuse that they don't take any soft items (plushies, dress up clothes) - well it's 2024, they never left the bag. I can understand if they had been worn but they were 100% fine and the covid excuse is an insult to one's intelligence.

They say they can't take these returns for "health reasons" (???????) incase things were played with or worn (again, they were not) which is especially rich, considering on any day of the week you can find children playing with the toys, dropping items on the floor, trying on hats....these things go back on the shelf.

Just admit you are a small business and you prefer every dollar you can get, even if the people shop there all the time, so you instituted a policy that ought to be on a case by case basis. Don't lie and say it's COVID when it's a few days away from 2025.

But at least I'll save money by ordering online. I love buying local but not when you give me a BS excuse. So instead of me spending the return money on something for my daughter, you get this crap...

I had a wonderful experience visiting Hullabaloo today. I was greeted by the lovely manager at the front, and she offered me a free cupcake and raffle ticket for the grand opening raffle they were doing. The store employees were extremely kind and knowledgeable about the store and its products, and they helped me pick out a board game. They have a bunch of games for both kids and adults. The store itself was well-lit, clean, organized, spacious, and it had just the right amount of product. Overall, this is one of the best stores in Bozeman and it definitely has the friendliest staff I’ve encountered in all of Bozeman. Would definitely recommend if you need...

Hullaballoo Toys is the new toystore in the Gallatin Valley Mall. My children and I went to their grand opening celebration and were warmly welcomed by their friendly and knowledgeable staff. My kids were thrilled by the variety of the store's selections to choose from and ultimately chose spy kits, bows and arrows, a panda lovey, and an awesome Playmobile vehicle. However, there were so many other things that would have made for excellent entertainment at home as well! You should stop by and check them out.
