Broadway Jewelry and Rare Coins — Attraction in Bradley

Unfortunately, I have not had a good experience with Broadway Jewelry. I had them upgrade my engagement ring 2 years ago and what was supposed to be a 2 week process turned into a 2 month process because of mistakes on their part that they had to keep fixing. More recently, I paid to have my rings re-dipped after 2 years, and a week and a half later, one of my stones fell out. When I contacted them, I was told they would “take care of it.” When I dropped the ring off, the owner was quite discourteous and told me that since they had fixed my ring previously at no charge (mistakes they had made), they would not do it again. Turns out they had my name wrong and did not even remember re-dipping my ring. Well, we were eventually told we would not be charged for them fixing the ring, since it happened right after they did work on it. When my husband went to pick up the ring several days later, the owner changed his mind and decided to charge us for the work. This seller is shady. I sent an offer on an item they had listed. They accepted the offer and I paid. I later realized the title was misleading and so I messaged the buyer to make sure it was the exact item I purchased. The seller of course said - “yes it is.” Later on the seller messages me saying they sold it in store and it was no longer available but I could spend my money on something else. I googled coin shop and this place popped up and was literally in walking distance from where we were, so figured wouldn’t hurt to check it out.
