I was walking my dog with my friend and her dog. And a bunch of kids on bikes came flying up behind us on the pathway and had to slam on the breaks to keep from hitting me. My dog was so afraid(we are working on her fear issues currently)that she snapped her leash and took off across the field. These kids were laughing and still zooming past everyone while I watched my dog running away. Good thing I have her E-Collar trained so she came back. But the fact that kids are allowed to do that without parent supervision is wrong. I almost lost my dog today because there are no rules regulating how people should ride bikes by people especially people with dogs. The worst part is they came up so fast behind me I didn't even see or hear them coming so I could protect my dog. Hundreds of dollars of training to help her through her problems just went right out of the window. Whoever’s kids these were, they didn’t raise them right. And the fact that they were laughing after almost hitting ME and watching my dog run away? So insane. I will NEVER go here again until there are rules set up for...

We played at the red park, and dogs are not allowed on the play ground themselves.
Then we hiked up the the caves, stayed at them for about 20 minutes and came back. All in all, hiking and the caves we were gone for 2 hrs. (Got back around 6:40)
Did a bathroom trip and played at the yellow park before changing and going home.
If going to the caves, your shoes will get wet going in, wear some you don't care about. Same goes for clothes. You dry out on the hike back. Bring a lot of water and sunblock, as well as bug spray. Saw rabbits, squirrels, monarchs, robins, blue Jays, female cardinals, moths, bumble and honey bees, killdeer, multiple sparrows, and even a baby praying mantis.
Our pup came with for the caves and splashed...
Read moreThis place was amazing. Everything inside and out was clean, well-maintained and designed for multi-age fun. My two-year old was able to have a fantastic time right alongside all the big kids that were there. They have several play room scenarios with ALL the accoutrements including a Knight's castle, a vet's office, a grocery store, an emergency room and more. My toddler had a great time in the STEM area playing with a vacuum/forced air tubes, a flight simulator, and the water room. The staff was friendly--they even opened the patio for us so we could go outside and have snack. We ended the day on the spacious and well-appointed playground--again, great for different ages. The day was so action-packed we didn't have time to see the animals. If you have littles that need a nap and can't stay for more than a couple hours, I would recommend not trying to see everything. You will want to give them plenty of time to enjoy this gem...
