I ordered 5 pizzas through the papa John’s app that were scheduled to be delivered at 10:30pm last night 05-09-2025. At 10:40pm I received a text from a random number saying they were there and sent a picture of some random street. I sent them my location and they said they put the address in wrong. That was the last text I received. I waited another 10 minutes and then called the store to see what was going on. They said “we only have one delivery driver right now, so we had door dash pick up your order to bring it to you” (Which I was confused about because I didn’t order through door dash I ordered through your papa John’s app). They said they would remake my order, because they called door dash and couldn’t get the guy to answer, they assumed he just kept the pizzas. This is now a half hour later from when the pizza was supposed to be delivered. So instead of them having door dash deliver it again, I asked if I could just get my delivery fee back and I would just come in and pick it up instead. They said they could do that. They told me it would be 20 minutes, so I went to pick up and when I got there they said they couldn’t give me any money back, because the general manager would have to be the one to do that. They said “You will need to call in tomorrow to talk with him, but you will need to call tomorrow (Which is today 05-10-2025). Because otherwise he won’t be back in until Wednesday.” So it ended up being an hour late and we finally were able to eat our pizza at 11:30pm last night (05-09-2025).
Today (05-10-2025) I called into the store at 5:55pm I talked with a gentleman that said he was the assistant manager. He said “The general manager was at the store and he would have him call me back when he got back from the store.” Almost an hour later I hadn’t received a phone call back, so I called back into the store at 6:47pm. A guy answered the phone and I said “I called earlier and was told that the general manager was going to give me a call back and I hadn’t heard anything.” He responded saying “This is the general manager, but I don’t take phone calls during dinner hours.” I said “The guy I talked to earlier said you were going to give me a call and they told me last night I could call in and talk with you today”. He said “well you should have called in at 9:30 this morning when I told you to call in, when I talked to you last night” I said “I didn’t talk to you last night” he said “well, when I talked to you a couple of days ago” I said “I haven’t talked to you at all until now, I talked to someone else last night” he said “I don’t have time to argue with you, and then hung up on me”
I bought 5 pizzas and after a $5.99 delivery fee (which I picked up and never even got delivered to me) and $14.03 tip. I spent $79 for pizza that was suppose to be delivered an hour earlier, that I then had to drive to pick up, and then was hung up on by the general manager because he didn’t have time for me. I simply was going to ask for the delivery fee back since I had to pick up the pizza.
I’m not typically one to complain because I understand that accidents happen. But this has been extremely frustrating. I ordered through the papa John’s app for delivery, not door dash….. Which would have avoided this whole situation, but I can’t even get ahold of the general manager to...
Read moreI called in an order for delivery and wound up speaking to Dalton. Unfortunately, he was rude, condescending and unprofessional. I was dealing with an issue which he seemed to have resolved then placed me on hold approximately 15 minutes to take the in store customers. Understandable. But then when he came back to the line he was so rude like he was a different person but i asked his name and confirmed it was the same person. Then he said he was he was going to put me back on hold to take care of more in store customers instead of taking my order. I let him know i had been on the line trying to place my order for appx 30 minutes and phone customers are important as well. Then he got more rude then said do i want to complain or place my order. I said i would like to place my order then he said do you want to order and i said yes and he hung up on me. I would give this place 0 stars but because i called back and Thomas answered the phone he was a bit more customer friendly, i placed my order with yet some difficulty but did get it placed and received my food via Jim with delivery. They have an 8 mile radius which is what Dalton stated and he said that i was within their delivery area. However, Jim made a statement that i was out of the way, even tho I’m only 4 miles away. I tipped the price of my order too. For it to be Customer Appreciation Day, there definitely wasn’t any appreciation. On top of all that, i ordered a large pepperoni pizza with extra cheese. There was no extra cheese and lots of areas where there was no cheese at all. I figured I’d give them a try again since it’s been years since I went there but now i remember why. This was my first experience with Papa John's, and I couldn't be more pleased.
I was impressed by how affordable their pizzas were, allowing me to order enough to feed 12 people without breaking the bank. The pizzas were not only delicious, but they also provided more than enough for everyone at the office.
I ordered online in advance, and to my delight, the pizzas were ready for pickup even before I arrived. This perfect timing made it easy for me to grab the pizzas and bring them back just in time for our short lunch break.
