2.7.24 I’m not sure why anyone but Don isn’t replying to my review since he’s the only one who ever spoke to me. Thanks to his refusal to even let me finish a sentence when I tried asking him why the finance company told me to not agree to let Turk have the couches back my file is now closed and I’m stuck with a broken couch. I was confused on being told different things by either company and was genuinely asking Don what they meant even though he had already been extremely rude to me on other calls. Telling me I refused to have the couch fixed when I have a copy of the techs records you sent to the finance company indicating he said it COULDNT be fixed is wild. The documents DON refused to let me see. The tech is the one who told me on his 3rd trip to my home the couch was made so poorly he was shocked they sold it! I was also called almost daily reminded I had to have the couches picked up before the end of the month during Christmas time despite the fact my baby was sick, and we’d be without anything to sit on. Zero grace from this store. Thankfully many people have heard and read my story and said they will steer clear of this store! Sounds good to me!
Update 12/19/23 The regional manager met with the owner and it was agreed I would need to give the couches back to the furniture store before the process of my refund could take place. I was also informed Turk Furniture would not be refunding me since I financed the couches. They will pick up the couches, submit a report, and the finance company would refund me, but they don’t know how long that will take. I requested documentation since nothing has been given to me In writing other than my receipt of purchase. Turk sold me a couch that was so poorly made it’s completely caved in and broken on one side. I’ve only owned it for 6 months. After 3 attempts of getting it fixed with almost no communication from the store, they are refusing to refund my money. The regional manager called me today and told me my only option is to take store credit. I don’t want to deal with this store anymore! I told him I know a woman who was refunded her money and he said I was lying despite her having bank statements showing otherwise. Perhaps because she’s white she got a refund, but I’m treated less than. He had the nerve to ask me what kind of communication I was wanting when I told him how poor it was. DONT BUY FROM TURK. Read moreUpdate: I can not say enough about how Turk handle the incident at hand. They went above and beyond to ensure this never happened again. As well as did the delivery company. After the reach out from both Turk and the delivery company supervisor I won’t hesitate as always to make another purchase from Turk. Thank you all.
My wife and I was on the search for a new bed. We found it, and for a great price might I add. UNTIL the delivery experience happened. We was called yesterday and our delivery frame time was noon-3 today 2/6/21. I was out getting grocery at 11 to keep getting notifications from my cameras I had someone in my front yard. There was Turks deliver sitting in front of my house with no call that they where coming nothing at all just showed up. So I ditched my grocery and got home. The delivery guys are bringing in the frame and box spring I tell them should we take the old out first? They told me flat out "We don’t take NO bedding items at all." I said well that’s not what they told me at the store they said you guys would take my old mattress. They said no we can’t take no items at all. So I had the wife call Turks while I helps them with getting the old bed out the way. They set everything up perfectly fine. So they leave me with a king size box spring and mattress in a room and just leave fine. So now they have left after the store contacted them and made them come back and get what they said they would dispose of. Come to find out the guy breaks my screen door handle off ON CAMERA and shows his Buddy and hides it in his pocket and instead of telling me. I wouldn’t of even cared if they was just honest it’s a $20 handle but to break it and not tell me and then hide it. Read moreDad bought four pieces of furniture. A mattress kitchen table and two chairs from Turks. Mattress and table are just fine but the two chairs were extremely poor quality. One creaked like something out of the old west which he was able to get credit for and the other chair just got delivered and we refused it because it has unnatural bumps and a plastic screw or nail sticking out the side. Dad cut his hand on the screw and when he called the guy on the phone was all but yelling at my dad extremely unprofessional. Says they will fix brand new chair and make right which I have no clue how. If things are made right I’ll take down the one star review. For that chair to be delivered with that side being such poor quality means it did not go thru any quality check or just got dumped in our lap because Turks has a no refund policy. For the guy on the phone to be as loud and short with my father as he was and treat him like he was at fault for not accepting it is unacceptable. After hearing that phone interaction if I need a piece of furniture I’ll go everywhere near by and will need to have an equally as bad of an experience before going to Turks again.
