Me and my family usually come in during the weekends and sometimes we receive minor issues but other than that it would be fine up until today. Our server had a passive aggressive attitude towards us but all of a sudden has a wonderful attitude towards her other tables apparently. One of my daughters ordered a burger that looked under cooked and had a sour smell coming out of it and I complained about this to the lady up front in the register to which I get an insuiating attitude of being a liar along with unprofessionalism from her. Wished the situation would’ve been handled better but it didn’t get resolved so we won’t be back here again. ‼️UPDATE 02/01/2024‼️
Ok Mr owner, your response is just as professional as your employees. I can tell how much you care of losing your customers, I see your restaurant full most of the weekends when I visit the place and you are a lucky man I must say, but you must understand in order to have a busy restaurant you need people like me who comes and eat with family and friends, friends and family who I’m willing to tell them to stop coming to your restaurant because of you and your employees behavior and I want to clarify that yes my kids and I were on our phones just like any other person this day, but we didn’t do what you were saying. I was wanting the server most of the time as I’m a coffee drinker and was waiting for them to get a cup of coffee and I would mostly say my cup was empty most of the time. I unfortunately didn’t mention the burger problem to the server as my daughter is usually a slow eater and she didn’t say anything until after the bill was set on the table when she took the first and only bite of the burger. I didn’t know you guys had a manager for each table as you mentioned in your comment. Lol. So that’s why we took the complaint to the register. All I told your employee was that she should have someone check the burgers because they are maybe going bad, I didn’t ask for a discount or for it to be taken of the bill just wanted to share the problem and to be taken care of, so no one will get sick,while the lady on the register kept telling me that it was impossible that there was no way that was happening while shaking her head and keep repeating the words “that’s impossible”. I was a bit frustrated then because all she had to say was we will take a look at it or just say I will take that comment to the manager or owner. That’s it. I’m sure you believe your employees and your so called cameras but that’s more of the problem you guys have up in there as we had problems in the past with certain servers and always complained at the register. I’m sure you will have your business running for a while just wish I had a different response from you and as I mentioned I will never come back to your restaurant and I will make sure none of my family or friends come there too. Still wish you the best and wish this experience will get you somehow a bit humbled. Read moreI originally had a bad experience ordering via grub hub. I had ordered at 11:58am and did not receive my 2 breakfast entrees until nearly 1:30 pm when grub hub had stated a 30-40 minute delivery time from time of order submission. I wrote my review detailing my issues and was pleasantly surprised to have received a prompt call from the manager who explained that they are supposed to have been unaffiliated with grub hub and most other delivery services due to these delivery services negatively impacting their excellent food/services. His sincere concern and eagerness to correct my issues were above and beyond what I have seen displayed by management at other restaurants.
Even after receiving late food (grub hubs fault NOT yolks and berries as they had it ready on time!) we heated it and it was STILL some of the best breakfast food we have ever eaten! I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh ingredient breakfast/lunch spots! If we are ever back in town we will eat here.
UPDATE TO MANGER RESPONSE BELOW: I was in the middle of editing this review at the time of the manger comment. As I stated on the phone, we are here from out of town. As it's for business, it has kept us very busy and I have just now been available to edit this review-my apologies. We did speak the day of my order and I offered to change my review before trying the food simply to correct the review of the grub hub error. However, I do want to clarify that the responses from the staff over the phone were given with intended dismissal and out of shared frustration, not just to simply move the conversation along. After speaking, I completely understand her frustration! But, I do not believe it should be portrayed as though I did not experience misdirected frustration. That did happen. I took it out of my edited review because it didn't seem to matter much after our conversation, but I really wanted to comment back for the accountability and validation of the misdirected frustration by the server I that I did experience. Read moreThe place was lovely. When I first walked in I was sure I’d love it. The server was friendly. Took our order and served our drinks promptly. I ordered the banana fosters waffle. I asked if I could get it without pecans. I do not care for them. She said, “Absolutely, you get things exactly how you want here!” They were quite busy so it took a bit of time to get the food. When it arrived there were a LOT of pecans on it. I began picking them off (I was hungry and on a time crunch) so I could eat it. The bananas were also super mushy. I expected them to be softer than a fresh banana (I’ve had bananas foster other places) but these were extreme to me. I ended up scraping everything off the waffle and eating it as is. The waffle by itself was delicious! The next time I saw the server was when she walked by and slapped the bill on the table. She glanced at my plate, I thought she was going to say something about the pecans being in a huge pile but she walked on. I laid my card on the bill and when she noticed that she told me I could pay up front. My daughter asked for a box for her leftovers. She said, “absolutely!” We waited almost 10 minutes. I went up to pay and use the restroom. The gal at the register asked me how everything was. I told her my experience in a kind way. She apologized and said next time to ask to have it remade. I would have if I had seen the server again in a reasonable amount of time. Our drinks were never even refilled. I was bummed because I had high hopes for this place. There won’t be a next time.
