My partner and I booked a night’s stay at the Homewood Suites by Hilton near Bridgewater, NJ, so we could attend an Indian wedding. It’s a nice hotel in the middle of nowhere. On our last stay in 2023, the staff was super attentive. Unfortunately, two beloved people in our inner circle passed away and within four days of each other. Needless to say, we called the hotel for a refund. We spoke with Jennifer, the sales manager. She was extremely understanding of our horrific situation and great loss. She said that she completely understood and would approve a refund. But get this! When Expedia called to confirm the refund, Jennifer denied it twice! And that was after telling us how sympathetic she was to us and our awful situation and that she would, indeed, grant us a refund. Then we made additional phone calls to Jennifer with Expedia on the line, and she refused to take our phone calls by hanging up on us three consecutive times. My partner and I are completely disgusted by such dishonesty and deceitful behavior by her. After all, she is the sales manager. We always held this hotel in high regard. But Jennifer’s sheer lack of honesty as well as lack of empathy makes us really wonder about the business ethics of this hotel. All that sympathy that Jennifer displayed was not real and it appears that she never had any intention of approving us a refund. Needless to say, this time the hotel has displayed a real lack of professional courtesy and lack of professionalism that has clearly left an awfully bad taste in our mouths.

We stayed here for 3 days. The room itself is spacious, but the living room, kitchen, and bathroom are quite small. Despite this, the rent is higher than what my friends are paying for their place, where their room is significantly larger than ours. Pool is always full. Breakfast is ok nothing good. Stove was broken so they come to fix it. The curtains wont close so u cant stay long in bed. The cleaner came to our room, and I asked if she could return after we left, but she said it was fine. However, she didn’t want to change the beddings for some reason. In the end, she only changed the towels without sweeping or vacuuming. Later, another person came and asked us to leave the room, saying they couldn’t clean while we were there. She then asked the first cleaner to leave. Despite all that, the room still wasn’t cleaned, and only the towels were replaced.

It's a good hotel well maintained located on the highway with some good restaurants and shopping centers at walkable distance. We booked a premium room it was spacious with a bedroom kitchen and hall. The rooms were clean, bed was very comfortable.Their breakfast buffet has good variety. They do have a gym and indoor swimming pool was under maintenance. The staffs are very helpful and friendly except for a lady at the front desk whom we met upon arrival in the afternoon was quite rude.

Do not stay at this hotel. The staff is horrible. We had stayed in this hotel during Memorial Day weekend. The AC was broken and blew hot all night. They finally fixed the AC in the middle of the night but after a couple of hours of tinkering with the AC. They were gracious enough to comp the night. The rest of the stay was fine and uneventful. We thought that we would try the hotel again and booked it for one night. Then tonight when we checked in, the front desk person said yes we know about you clearly referencing the other stay. The room that we checked into in advance was not available. They gave us another room. We got into the room and they immediately gave us a crib. The whole entire time during the check in process, it was clear that they didn't want us to stay there, but it was late and we just took the room they had. The maintenance man brought us a crib and the man went to get the liner for the crib and said he would be right back. My husband tried to get the crib together but couldn't assemble it. I called the front desk to ask the maintenance man to send up another crib as well as the liner. Eugene at the front desk said that the guy went on break and won't be back until 30 mins later. I asked why did he say he would be right back. Eugene said he didn't know, but Eugene couldn't help me. I asked to speak to the manager who we spoke to at the front desk just 10 mins ago. Eugene said that there was no manager on duty and he was the only person at the hotel. I found that impossible to believe. He said that he only makes $10 per hour and there's nothing he could do to help me. He didn't know where to get the cribs, he didn't know how to get in touch with the maintence person and he didn't know when the manager was going to be on back. We packed up and as we were walking down the hallway the maintence person was on his way back with the crib liner. He said that he wasn't on break and in fact spoke to the manager on duty just then. We went downstairs to confront Eugene who clearly lied to us. By then the manager was suddenly on site. Both of them were completely confrontation and didn't apologize or take responsibility for their lies. Eugene told us to get out and there was the door. It was an absolutely a disaster. Their attitude...

The worst Hilton experience of my lifetime I have been a 22years honors member and I am a lifetime diamond my names is Shane I am 60 year old a class my self as a gentleman and always conduct my self as one me and my wife attended this hotel from the 11 October to the 18 th October which was a pleasurable stay until the 18 th when we extended our stay from 18!to 25 October we changed our key on the morning for the new stay without any problems at 8pm that evening we came downstairs to eat with our son my wife at 9 decided to return to the room only to find that the key was not working we went together to the front desk only to be informed that the manager Anthony had told his colleague to lock us out of the room we when we ask why we were locked out he said we had not pre authorized for the seven days only three we needed medication asked the young man who called the manger Anthony by phone and replied don’t let them In we explained we were still three day prepaid and we were not in arrears but they would not reason with us eventually my son gave another 140 dollars they required for insedentels and they allowed access on the Monday we met Anthony ta ask if everything was okay only to be told he had cancelled Al further reservations and barred us from the hotel and if we didn’t leave he would have us removed I had already contacted the diamond desk Customer service Anthony said I caused him grief and upset his staff he was not there on the evening of. We stayed in a suite with king bed and full kitchen. If I was only reviewing the staff and housekeeping, my review would be 5 stars. The staff was excellent; the room was very clean. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable. However, I was surprised at the condition of the room. Cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom were in poor condition making the place look shabby. When we tried to use the microwave, the turntable was missing. My husband went to the front desk hoping to get it resolved quickly but it took a few hours due to a problem finding the right part, so we were unable to use the microwave the first morning. Coffeemaker in the full kitchen was just two paper cups under a small 2-cup machine that only takes prepackaged single coffee inserts which are supplied along with a couple of creamers, sugar and tea. Although coffee is available in the lobby, many hotel rooms I’ve stayed in with full kitchens have a small regular coffeemaker (it’s nice to brew your own pot of coffee without leaving the room), so that was somewhat disappointing. The toilet began leaking the first night with water all over the bathroom floor. Since it was late, we were already in our pjs and knew housekeeping would be unavailable at that hour, my husband found the problem and adjusted it himself but it was a mess. Next morning, I called the front desk for extra towels because we had used so many to wipe up the water. Although the staff was very accommodating and housekeeping was great, the worn-out condition of the room and initial problems with the microwave and toilet made our stay less comfortable than we...
