My family and my sisters family went around 11 a.m. on a Wednesday and the line was short and that was nice. We all went and the ride up to the top was nice as well. I had a older (60 ish) gentleman in front of me because I was first in our group to go which is fine. But I had a feeling that he would want to go slower than me and after all this the fastest coaster in the Midwest according to them. So I wanted to wait a bit before I went down so I wouldn't have to slow down. But the girl told me I had to go. Ok no big deal I went down and it was fast, fun and a little bit scary at times (in a good way). But right before I get to the loop that they take your picture my cart stops itself because I got to close the rider on front me. Well that is unfortunate but its all good because I noticed at this supposedly fastest spot, there is zero netting in case something happens. Regardless of this I did have a good time and as I get to the bottom of the mountain I tell the employee "Dang thing stopped me right before the cameras." He told me that he could tell that the man in front of me was slow. So I get off satisfied with one ride but in our group of 7 my niece wanted to go again so she waited to ride with her dad. So they went and came back down from the ride and they were in pain. Apparently the coaster car behind them didn't detect a stopped cart on the rail because HIS completely stopped after three times of getting within 80 feet of the rider in front of them. So a teenager behind them came crashing into them. So they wait for a management to tell them what happen so they immediately go test the carts and say they didn't fail on them. My brother asked if he could buy a picture because it shows the moment before the kid slammed into them and they refused to sell it to them. Instead they just said he could have a free t-shirt and take another ride for free. No sympathy of any kind of or offer refund. Poor customer service and my family isn't the type to complain. This the first review I have ever done my 44...
Read moreThe lady at the ticket counter was very rude by telling me that I couldn't have anything in my ZIPPERED POCKETS, by saying that, "Stuff even falls out of zippered pockets". NO IT DOESN'T!!! She DOES NOT understand how many tests I have done in my life with zippered, velcro, and buttoned cargo pants pockets!!! Zippered means NOTHING WILL FALL OUT!!! I even had something in my pocket to prove that fact, I rode it, and I STILL HAVE THAT ITEM!!!! She has NO IDEA WHAT SHE'S TALKING ABOUT OR WHO I AM!!!! She has NO RIGHT TO TELL ANYONE THAT BECAUSE SHE CLEARLY DOES NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT ZIPPERED POCKETS ARE!!! She also doesn't understand that things clipped onto a belt loop WILL NOT COME OFF!!!!
As I was getting on, the gate was clearly opened, so I went in because an opened gate CLEARLY MEANS COME IN!!! He asked me to get behind the line FOR NO REASON and pointed at some useless sign! I said, well then close the gate! THAT'S WHAT THE GATE IS FOR!!!! He just ignored me, so I just wanted to ignore him! YOU NEED TO CLOSE THE GATE AND OPEN IT WHEN YOU WANT PEOPLE TO COME IN!!!! USE COMMON SENSE!!!!
The ride itself was rough, jerky, and it felt like my belt could barely hold me in with all the ways it was pushing me left and right. Go somewhere else because these people are really stupid...
Read moreI would not recommend this unless you want to potentially waste $23. They do not allow enough distance between riders so if you stuck behind a slow rider your ride is ruined. My cart came to a complete stop at least 5 times because the rider in front of me was crawling down the hill. My cart would start to beep then slam on the brakes once my cart got close to the rider in front of me. The rider in front of me was going so slow that this happened the majority of the way down making for an uncomfortable and very unpleasant ride. This totally ruined the whole experience and point of the attraction. I told the girl helping me off the ride and the girl working the ticket booth about my poor experience and they did nothing but offer for me to buy another ticket.I understand they cannot control how fast riders go down but they should offer a refund or another ride when yours is ruined like mine was. They also need to allow more distance between riders so this situation does not happen. What a joke of an establishment. The girl working the ticket both is rude and overall and overall terrible customer service. I have had a significantly better experience at the other 2 mountain coasters in Branson. I would highly recommend those over this one if you want a...
