I'm not sure if the workers were actual Baristas or just someone stuck in the coffee shop for today. Our two Lattes had no foam at all, none, the workers were not cleaning the steaming wand after steaming milk and milk was caked onto it or wiping out the portafilter after use and they were touching food without gloves. Not to mention the staff was very short and rude with customers and not friendly. We were not staying at the Lodge, but just stopped in because the coffee shop had good reviews and looked cute. Read moreThis place was cute. But we waited over 30 minutes for 3 iced lattes and it wasn’t even busy. The lady was just talking and moving beyond slow and we had somewhere to be. Prices are not good either. She was helping other customers before making our drinks and when we asked her questions about the menu she was not helpful and was rude about it. We asked her how much longer after 25 minutes and she’s like “I’m working on it” and did not say sorry at all! The coffee was delicious - I had a half sweet lavender latte & a warm blueberry scone. Lots of cute merch to scratch your tourist itch - all on high quality blanks. We didn’t stay at The Ozarker, but would definitely add that to my list next time. I imagine the wine bar experience would be just as lovely as the coffee.
