This is a blue green time share resort and we love this place! I would consider this one of blue green's more "value" places but my family and I Love it! This place is only a stones throw from the strip but gives you access to many of the back road options to the rest of the area! It also has soooo many amenities to offer those who are staying there! It has in indoor and outdoor pool. The indoor pool has a small kiddie pool that is great for toddlers and the actual pool is only about 4' deep so not great for lap swim but great for family play! The outdoor hot tub stays running year round and it's great to hop in during the winter. They have an 18 hole mini golf course that stays open year round and they simply have the clubs and balls available on the outside of the club house. So if you worried about your children terrorizing the clubs house (like me) there's no problem, your ready to hit the links as soon as you get to the area! They also have a fenced basketball court, small but nice playground, shuffleboard and horse shoe pits! The rooms are set up in a very unique way with each room number having both an A & B side that share a main entery vestibule. If you are only staying in oneside you will get very close with your neighbors! The A & B sides to have an interior door to make them adjoining. In the shared vestibule there is a full size washer and dryer with laundry basket. The A side is close to 4 times the size (maybe more) of the B side. The A side has a full size kitchen, complete with full size fridge, oven, microwave, sink, flat ware and large round dinner table. It also has a large living room, large bathroom with his and her's sinks and a shower between them, large jetted tub in the bedroom with closet and a balcony that is very nice with a table and two chairs. So if you have a large family (like mine with 6) This side is a must and handles us well. The B side is very cozy, even though it is like a fair sized hotel room. The B side is complete with a table and two chairs, small kitchenette, couch (that folds out into a bed) and a standard bathroom. Both rooms are complete with nice size TVs (though both are smart TVs those options have been disabled) that are size for the room they serve. The whole resort area is VERY well kept and has a very nice service center at the club house that can get you discount tickets to any show you would like! The only downfall to this place is the whole thing is built on a very step hill! Which makes for great views from the rooms (even some of the lower ones) but could be a BIG challenge for anyone with mobility issues. They have 3-4 buildings that are level with the club house and about 10+ that are below it. So you have a steep walk ahead of you to get to the club house. My family has no issues with it, but for anyone with mobility problems or elderly request to be ground level with the club house or plan to drive from your building to the club house. I've always been very impressed with the service from the staff and the quick response you get on any requests. They do regular craft and programs up at the club house for adults or youth, some free and some with a small fee. We've stayed at both Big Cedar Lodge and Paradise Point, and though those have some amazing rooms views and amenities because of the ownership of the resorts if you stay at Falls Village you have access to all the amenaties out at both resorts! But best bang for your buck AND being far closer to the "Branson" area, Falls Village is my pick! We've been visiting there every year in November for the past 13 years and we've always had amazing service and clean, comfortable rooms. Though I'm not a big time share fan (wife's grandparents have it) we LOVE staying here and would recommend...
Read moreThe resort very nice. The reason this is a 3 is because of certain people. I am not good with names so here goes. Check in fine no issues. The next morning coffee pot wasn't working. On our way out we stopped at the desk and asked to have it replaced. This young lady that was there in the morning just said can we leave another one in your unit while we were gone. To me that is respecfull towards your guest. No questions. Tuesday night i had an issue with my glasses. They broke. Went to the desk and asked for super glue. Young man could have said no and left it at that. He didn't, he call maintence and took a few minutes when the gentleman appeared with super glue. These 3 are the reason i didn't give it a 2. Now the real reason for the 3. On april 24 i got a call from Kamara. She called to see if we needed anything upon our arrival. She mentioned that she can get tickets to all the shows at a discount. After that she said your yearly meeting is do and gave me a couple of times. We elected monday morning . She gave the impression that this was mandatory for us. This is where it went bad. Monday morning we're leaving to walk up and i get a call from i think tina. Who ever was on and called me at 853 am that morning in my mind could not be more unprofessional. She wanted to make sure we were going and when i said yes (and started to tell her we are on the way )she hung up. F'ing rude. We go and check in and i asked why we need to do this ever year and we were told it's not mandatory. When i mention that i get the impression it was, Kamara happen to be there and said she never gave that impression. So my question would be who is wrong. The people i talked to or bluegreen? It says on the form 3rd paragraph on the left that attendence is MANDATORY for bluegreen owners. I will believe what i see in writing. This brings me to Emily. Miss Emily was i guess you would call our rep. My biggest issue with people especially anyone in any kind of sale is they DON'T LISTEN. We told her in no way are we increasing or signing or buying anything. As a sales rep she answered like all the others. Understand but need to explain these different things. After all her talking we told her again not buying. You think after saying this she would accept it. Ya rite𤣠At this point her manager Will,William whatever he calls himself. He asked if we got a call from bluegreens and we said no. Like a lot of people you don't know the number leave a message. He said he will see what happen. I did tell him that in this time frame I called them a couple times ,so would guess if there was something so important there would be a note on the account. This is where sales don't listen. He returned and said that they called us 3 times each. So 6 calls and no notes on the account. No email saying please contact us. Nope. Nothing. When i asked how many times i contacted them( he said he could see all the call) you could hear nothing but crickets. So Will sat down and started telling us how we need to move over to hgv. According to him 35% of owners have done. He was pushy. Very pushy. 15000 only good for that moment after that's off the table and you will need to spend 30000. After about 2 minutes of my wife saying no and pushing the papers back i said stop. I asked why he refuses to take no as an answer as i mention the tone of my voice i'm getting pissed. Ready for it? He said he is taking no. So when asked then why do you keep pushing it? That's when it ended. I learned on this trip that bluegreen/hgv is justing money grabbing companies. After writing this i will go with my first...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe are Bluegreen Silver Members. This is one of the worst resorts I have seen or been to in the BG family. It's the equivalent of an apartment complex. I don't know how it's handicap compliant, even ground floor rooms seem to be entered by a thin long sidewalk. Anyway, we stayed in the upstairs studio. I expected a patio as EVERY picture seemed to show that. Of course, it doesn't have one in the studio. The studio is MUCH smaller than other BG locations and you walked literally in the door and just about land on the bed. The kitchen area is a small 2-burner with a tiny fridge and coffee pot/toaster. We weren't planning on cooking in for this particular trip but we typically do for our vacations, it would be quite tricky in this space. The bathroom wasn't small or large, just ok, but it was dated and some tile was cracked and grout missing along walls and shower. Towels were fine, nothing great. The bed was actually quite comfy and the pillows, I need to understand where hotels and such get pillows, they are always fluffy and comfy. We didn't use the couch, it was oddly angled to where the TV sits. Our room being a studio had an adjoining door to the neighbor and there was a GIANT gap at the bottom, we heard them when they washed their hands, or breathed... so, that takes ALL the romance out of what was our ANNIVERSARY weekend (you do the math in your head). I ended up opening that door and stuffing a blanket down on the floor to cover that gap - do it when you arrive first day and save the headache later, it definitely helped.
The amenities were good though. For instance, pool indoor and out. Mini golf, shuffle board, giant checkers, and many indoor board games/coloring/etc. to do. They had a list of events each day, which honestly MANY BG resorts DO NOT DO! So, that was a redeeming part of it (hence a higher star for service). The guy running the game room and checking out golf clubs, etc. was fairly chatty (in a good way) and he continuously went outside to check on stuff, you can tell he takes good care of it, it was very clean and put together outside and in.
The location is very close to the strip - not really walkable to it, but 5 min drive. That said, the road you have to take does get a lot of traffic leading to the main strip. But, not a big deal there, it's always busy over there. Branson is a fun town, we literally are there every two months. However, I will NEVER stay at the Falls Village again! Opt for Big Cedar or another BG location in the woods, they are MUCH nicer!!
Let's not discuss their sales process and how they PUSH it on you EVERY stay. I've said that enough in all my reviews and feedback to them. They are shady and don't like the word no! They are very...
