This is marketed as the fastest and longest mountain coaster in the Midwest, and it is pretty fun, IF they give you enough space from the person in front of you who unnecessarily slows down or stops in front of you (DO NOT EVER stop on these types of coasters, it is very dangerous). They have you sign all kinds of waivers and make you give them a ton of personal info and also weigh you on a scale like you are livestock, all to protect them from any liability. They are open a half hour later than the other two in Branson (10:30pm) and the lighting is beautiful at night. Give yourself a few extra minutes to deal with the legal stuff and the then the wait in line, and you’ll have a great time. There are several built in safety redundancies, so there is no reason to ever hit the brakes once it starts unless you just get scared (which happens to a lot of first timers). Trust me, just let it fly and you’ll love it!

Very fun! I highly recommend coming to Runaway mountain coaster, it's perfect for the whole family if you like casual roller coasters. The whole idea that you can control the speed of the cart is awesome! The only downside was the fact that you have to pretty much sign your life away just to get on, I think they ask for way too personal information just so I could go skate down the mountainside on a cart, I had to give them my cell phone number and the next day I was getting promotional texts from the company after I thought I declined to receive promotional texts in the digital waiver. I understand we live in an era where potential lawsuits are inevitable, but give me a break! I think they are asking a little bit too much money for just one driver ticket, I would of liked to at least gone twice for the amount that I paid for one driver ticket but nevertheless it was worth it in the end.

The coaster it's self is very fun and quite long. It's a fun thing to do here in Branson. The reason for the 3 stars is the long lines. You first have to go to the touch screen kiosks and fill out a very detailed questionnaire about each rider and it's takes considerable time. Each person including children must have an assoctied email address and accurate height. After doing this, you get in another line and pay. If anything is incorrect from your kiosk information they cannot change or update it and you must start all over again. So this is a quite annoying and tedious process It is also $30 for you and one rider to go on the ride. A little pricey for a quick trill. The photos at the end will run you $13 and you only get one print.

This is a really fun unique experience. I have been several times and the staff has always been very nice, and the facility is very clean. The only reason it's not a 5 star is because the check-in process is a little chaotic if you are a first time visitor. When you arrive you have to watch a video, and sign-in on an iPad located to the right side of the entrance. Once you complete the sign-in on the iPad you make your way over to the ticket window on the left side to purchase your tickets and walk around to the left side of the building to actually start the ride. It's a little confusing but well worth it once you get to experience the thrill of being in control of your own roller coaster experience.

OMG This was the so much fun! You ride by yourself or you can ride 2 to a car. There is a weight limit of 300lbs total to a car. The car is basically pulled up to the top of the hill/mountain. It's a beautiful scenic ride up. You can watch the people that went up before you come down the tracks. Once at the top you gain control of how fast or slow you want to go down. There are twists and turns just like a big coaster. I actually slowed down a couple of times. It was amazing! We went on a Friday because we heard they had a $10 per ride cost from 1-3pm. It was true and well worth it! Definitely will do this again next time we are in Branson.
