Okay, so I am jewelry snob. And I have been totally devoted to my jeweler for years but at the end of last year my family's long time (3 generations) jeweler retired. I was heart-broken, I was also up-a-creek, you see I buy jewelry for my wife for every holiday and occasion and now I had no one. So after a year of languishing in luxury retail hell and monotonous commercial dime-a-dozen design, not to mention having to deal with the traffic to and from South Coast Plaza. My in-laws told me to go into Jewelers Touch, I initially stuck my nose up thinking to myself, "how could a "strip mall" jeweler take care of what I wanted to do." I was embarking on a big project, I was having to have my wife's engagement ring, a 180 year old (too fragile) Cartier piece completely rebuilt. But despite what I thought was my better judgement, I decided to go in. BOY WAS I WRONG! From the moment I walked in I was greeted warmly by Monique who asked me how she could help, she was expedient but not pushy, enthusiastic but still sincere, and unaffected in the most disarming way. Her warm personal approach gave all the professionalism and shine of any of the major jewelry houses at South Coast, yet somehow felt far more relational. Never the less I gruffly explained (still clinging to my lingering cynicism,) what I wanted to do for the project. Monique sprang into action showing me design after design bringing items for inspiration and providing an exceptional education without being preachy. Then she informed me (to my surprise) that they could custom build the ring from stem to stern; from the initial CAD design to wax mold to stone selection. I was properly gobsmacked and I went from looking down my (ignorant) nose, to being humbly excited for what these extraordinary artisans (not a word I throw around lightly, but in this case is completely warranted) were about to create. So three hours later (due to my indecision and their plethora of options) I left feeling beyond grateful even to point of being a little emotional. You see Monique had involved one of the managers, Corey. A gentlemen to be sure, who honestly is the nicest most erstwhile enthusiast of the process and craft that Jewelers Touch so expertly curates that I felt like I made a genuine friend. Corey and Monique truly sunk my battleship when they told me they could take the gold from the shank of my wife's original ring melt it down and incorporate it into the creation of my wife's new ring, which thanks to their talent and onsite facilities will be completely custom and an instant heirloom, (and done in just three weeks.) Honestly this place is a rare treasure and the furthest thing from a strip mall jewelry store its a destination, and just so special. I am so grateful for these wonderful people they have made a lifelong client out of me- to the point that I walked in the very next day with a loose spinel and a pair of round diamonds to have made into a right handed ring for my wife's anniversary gift. The same visit I brought in my JLC Reverso Watch, to have it engraved with my family's crest (which they did on the spot same day with tremendous care and expertise.) Truly I could go on and on but take it from a humbled former snob, and now Jewelers Touch enthusiast. It's a special place and I cannot...
Read moreI wish I could give this place 10/5 stars. We came here after visiting Happy Jewelers in Fullerton and another small store in Huntington Beach and were blown away by the level of care, attention, and expertise Brandon provided, all with no appointment. He had us feeling so well cared for and listened to us as people and a couple from the moment we walked in. He must have a crystal ball because I came in leaning towards either a pear or radiant cut engagement ring and the first ring Brandon showed us was an oval that made both me AND my boyfriend fall in love with the ring. My boyfriend was visibly gushing and was also so well cared for with his wants and just included in the process which made my heart happy as this experience is usually geared more towards women. The store itself also has great policies and service, like the top tier refreshments and snack sections, see through glass into the jewelers work stations, and the 3D renderings for rings you are customizing. They also cleaned my promise ring, which I feel is fairly standard, but they also cleaned the band of my ring which no other store has done for me, it seems obvious but just goes to show the care they have for their customers. We will definitely be coming back in the future for any jewelry needs, if you’re reading this book an appointment with Brandon, he’s...
Read moreMy Wife and I are EXTREMELY Happy with how our ring came out and VERY pleased with Monique. She went up, and over to make our experience one of the best we have ever had. Monique was very friendly, and helpful every step of the way to making our dream ring come true. The ring is amazingly crafted with our ideas coming to life, surpassing our expectations...
I remember when I was younger, driving to school, I would hear commercials from Jeweler's Touch talking about how they are a family owned and operated business, and can help customize your dream ring, how they are here to help even the little guy get an affordable ring for the love of their life.... I said to myself that one day if I ever found the love of my life I would buy her ring here, and finally after over 13 years from the first time hearing that radio commercial I finally bought the perfect ring for the love of my life.
Thank You Monique and Thank You Jeweler's Touch for making our dream...
