We do enjoy this park for the most part. I find it a pleasant place close to home to walk my dogs and with an abundance of mature trees there are plenty of shady places for picnics. During the summer the city of Placentia has Concerts in the Park that are a great way to get out with the family for little to no cost. Last year when we went there was a few lunch trucks serving various items. They have added an exercise circuit station that is nice. The lake is a decent size and although I don't know what fish are living in it people do come to fish. If you are lucky you may see the turtles sunning themselves. Ther are many benches all around the lake to stop and enjoy a sort moment. Occasionally there are music lessons happening and you just might enjoy some classical music as well. Some parts around the lake the water doesn't move enough and it can get kinda funky looking from the fish, turtles and water fowl. Speaking of water fowl, they run this park. There are many Canadian Geese, various ducks, and Egyptian Geese that are fun to watch but leave behind quite the mess. Be prepared to take some of their droppings home with you. Picnic shelters are nice and can be reserved and there is a large playground for the kiddos.

A beautiful public park, now including repaved pathways, an outdoor workout gym and newer public restroom’s. It’s located in Placentia, tho as the name implies, the Tri-City Park serves three cities, as it borders Fullerton and is just south of Brea. A large pond is the centerpiece to the surrounding landscape, where various waterfowl may be seen, along with fish. Anglers who are licensed, are often seen fishing from the shorelines. The park features a mostly paved walking path around the lake, with alternate dirt trails under the eucalyptus trees, to the north side. There’s picnic tables all throughout, some covered, some out in the open. Migratory and local birds will be seen at the pond, typically with coots, ducks and geese, and over the landscape with robins and hummingbirds, to name a few. Games may be played in some of the open areas, although the connected Tuffree Park is easily accessible at the south end, containing ballfields for larger team sports. Perhaps the best public amenity is the free parking, available as long as vehicles vacate by closing time.

This is a great place for a family outing, it's easy to get to, the grounds are kept in very clean condition, there is a decent size water pond on site with different fauna (ducks, geese, seagulls, turtles). You can also bring your pets as I believe it is pet friendly, they have plenty of parking, both regular and handicap spots as well conveniently located, there are picnic tables, benches and picnic shelters ( which you have to reserve if you plan on having a family party) with grills on site ( you only have to bring your charcoal and food of course) they have restrooms on site which they also keep in very clean condition, there are water drinking fountains as well and a playground for the little ones too. Overall I find this park to be a great place to either relax or have a nice family gathering, you can even come have lunch there if you are nearby, I give it five stars out of five.

It's really a nice park with nice wide walkways. The Ducks in the pond are entertaining and come when on the side of the banks there are people with food to feed them. There are people fishing. The pathways are wide enough that a group of cyclists came by and didn't bother those who are just walking for exercise. It's a very peaceful setting the entry to The Rolling Hills parking lot closes at 6 p.m. Cars already parked in the lot can still exit until the park closes at 9 pm. It's a great place to bring kids and family just to sit and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city life

A beautiful and safe park for kids to play at the well-kept large playground, walking, biking, yoga, people watching, being still, enjoying friendly ducks and people even fish here. There's restrooms, a large well-kept playground, plenty of covered picnic tables, benches overlooking the lake and a wide path that offers walkers and cyclists flat areas as well as small inclines. I have chronic pain conditions and find walking very much to be difficult, but walking here has made it a much more enjoyable experience. These pictures were taken early morning after light rain.

Nice park that we visit often. There's a big pond/lake and a good number of geese and ducks. One side has a playground area for kids, and there are shelters that can be reserved with the park authorities for parties and the like. They've just added in a small exercise area as well with some equipment for a range of light workouts. There are also some open grassy areas where we've met up for picnics with our friends. Probably the only caution I would give about this park is, since there are a lot of geese, beware of goose droppings in the grass.
