Looking forward to a fun skate day at one of the best parks in Summit, the session was shut down do to the fact that a skateboard camp has closed off the park Monday through Friday from 8am to 12pm to anyone not a part of the camp ages 6-12. As a skateboarder of 14 years this is suppose to be one of the most inclusive sports but when what is presumed to be a free park takes action and makes it so others can not enjoy the park during prime hours it adds insult to injury that these are lessons of rejection are being taught to the campers every time someone wants to come skate. Clearly those in charge of this program dont actually care about the spirit of skateboarding and teaching inclustivity but profit.
