Iowa Hill Trailhead — Attraction in Breckenridge

There is free parking on gravel. This was a great hike that climbs in altitude pretty quickly (take water with you!), but you get to stop along the way and learn about the history of the mining operation that was here long ago - actual mining equipment, in addition to informational signs.

My 15 & 9 year olds were challenged by which trails to take. Usually the Interpretive Trail goes off the beaten path a little ways, then you have to return to the Main Trail.
