We have been to Sky Zone several times in the past and my kids always have such a great time! My youngest has been begging to have his birthday party here but I have always felt it was pretty expensive for the little they get. However, I bit my tongue and went with it this year. Scheduling was awesome! The guy in charge of scheduling parties was very helpful. When we showed up for the party they were really quick to get us set up and have the kids ready to jump in time. I was a little disappointed that they were out of socks to give them other than child small and adult XL. However, I understand shortages happen. The jumping experience was great for the kids. When it was time for us to enter into the party room, our party host was about to walk out and asked if I needed anything. I told her a pitcher of water would be great. She came back with the water and left us to do cake and gifts. After a full hour of constant jumping you could imagine how thirsty all these kids were so needless to say the pitcher didn't last 5 mins. I looked around for the party host for a refill with no sight of her. Between gifts, cake and keeping the kids from being wild I was trying to look out the door for the host for water refill. Between myself and my daughter we had to keep going out to the concession stand to refill the pitcher for the party. After the gifts and cake were done, we headed out. I got a call 45 mins later from the party host asking if we left. (You're telling me 45 mins AFTER we leave you just now realize we are gone?!) I told her we did and she said I still had a balance of $15 to pay. I told her I was driving and would call her when I got home to pay. After 15 mins they continued to call. Once I got home I was able to call them back and pay the remaining total. I will for sure go back for my kids but I will never host another birthday party there. I paid over $200 for the kids to jump an hour and for me to do everything. I do believe that the advertising for a party host is false advertising because one reason I bit my tongue and paid that much for a party is so I could have the help and focus more on my...
Read moreHad my son’s 4th birthday party here. The only reason they get the single star is because he and his friends had fun. Outside of that, it was a terrible experience.
Main point of long post following, we believe one of the employees tried to take my phone/wallet. Buckle up it’s a doozy:
To start, when we booked they said we could have the room 30 minutes early to decorate for the party. When we arrived the room was empty but they said we could not get in until 15 minutes early. Okay, whatever we will make do.
After decorating is done and guests are arriving I go to grab my phone and it’s nowhere to be found in the party room. My wallet is attached to my phone and it has my cards and my military ID in there. We asked them to look at security footage just to make sure I had it when I entered the room. After too much back and forth they finally got the code to look at the cameras and confirmed I had it when entering the room. The only ones in and out of the room were good friends and family and the staff. Then they expected us to just accept that.
Finally, we informed them that we would be filing a police report and contacting the base police mainly because of my military ID. About 10 minutes later my phone magically appears under the candy bags I made for the kids. Candy bags that were moved multiple times in the hunt for the phone. The phone reappeared right after I told them I had to file a police report and the party host (one of the employees) brought napkins - and I’m guessing my phone - into the room.
So I got the phone/wallet back so I was over it.
At the end of the party I went to ask about the 30 minute jump vouchers that were supposed to be included for the kids at the party (that we paid for). They informed me that they discontinued that. I booked the party about 2 weeks ago. Soooooo needless to say we don’t recommend for parties or if you have any valuables unattended.
Aside from that, the staff was allowing larger kids to bully toddlers in the jump areas. So my husband had to constantly monitor all the 4 year olds that were with our party.
1/5 and I would probably give it a...
Read moreUsually a good time. Today it took 45 minutes just to get through the front counter and start jumping. Front desk was very rude and unaccommodating. This was the first time I went without my wife. I didn't realize the waiver had to be signed before getting in line to pay. They do have a big sign, but it only points what everything is, it doesn't explain the order of things. I waited for 20 minutes while one girl worked the register. Finally got all the way up just to be told I had to go back and do the waiver first. She told me to come straight back to the desk when I was done. Went back up, and I had a Groupon. By then there were now two cashiers. The cashier I had refused to help me because she "just got out of Groupon jail"(her words) and was scared to mess with it. Waited for the other girl to get done with her customer. Turns out I have to have the barcode from Groupon to use it. I'll take that hit, but I didn't know. The email had a confirmation number. I had to contact my wife to get the Groupon password, and while I was waiting, the cashier said to come back to the desk when I had the barcode and don't wait in line. I got the code and came to the desk. She called the next people up from the line and skipped me. I don't mind waiting in line, but don't tell me to come straight back if you are just going to make me wait the line anyway. Just as I got to the cashier again after about 15 more minutes, her computer crashed. The manager came out. I explained to him that this process was now taking 43 minutes. He gave a quick "I'm sorry, sir.". Then continued to restart the computer then walked off without another word. I would have left and just went to Surge, but my kids were already upset and we had already paid for the tickets here. It was a good time after all of this, but it was ridiculous for someone who was basically new to...
