Great place to check in for some crafts and decor. The shop is wide with a lot of selections available. Middle-range price for goods and spacious parking. I saw sewing, random toys, and things for art useful in kids' activities. We came here for post easter sale on some items and the furniture too. This place has seasonal items and the usual hobby items, it was nice and comfy. They had photo albums for the 4R size; brings back nostalgia to those of us that still have old printed photos. The lovely surprise I didn't expect was the snack section near the cashier having Harry Potter and other anime-themed candies like Naruto and Dragon Ball! I literally saw a 4-star dragon ball case that comes with red star candies inside (it's pretty random, there was also a 3-star at that time) and if you're collecting them for decor or just as a fan (I place mine on the Christmas tree), I say it's worth stopping by this shop. I've only seen this Dragon Ball snack in a mall with anime food and in the local airport in Hawaii, and this shop here by far sold the candies the cheapest between the three. Anyway, whether it's looking at lovely things, getting the next item for something to do, or grabbing a snack, Michael's is...
Read moreIs "3" stars a bad review? I've been going to this craft store forever. I definitely prefer the older store that was located in the east county mall. It was easier to find items and the store layout was better. The merchandise is stacked high and is hard to reach. Michael's needs an over haul, a new designer or something!!
After going into Hobby Lobby an (OCD dream), I can't really say the store is clean and organized. I can say the customer has always been consistent. Everyone is always friendly and is more than willing to help you. The cashiers always offer you a coupon to save an extra buck. They recently starting asking if you are a member their members rewards program. They didn't try to hard sell me either.
I went in looking for peacock feathers and ended up with a small package. They do have different merchandise than their competition so it's definitely worth shopping there.
Michael's I do love you, just step...
Read moreWell I went in for two things. One was Vellum paper either singles or packages and couldn’t find them where they belonged so I had to ask for help and no one was around so I had to go to have the cashier call someone. Second I needed a price check and had to look for someone again. Both ladies that helped me very very helpful! Then at check out the gal in front of me was trying to get her coupon up on her phone and was having trouble so she stepped aside and the cashier called me up and I already had my coupon up on my phone but when she said click on it for the bar code then mine wouldn’t come up because Michaels doesn’t have WiFi! It’s extremely difficult for us customers to use Michaels coupons on our phones when we are at Michaels!!!!! Please help your customers out!!!! There were 5 people in line becoming very impatient having to wait! The cashier told us to walk out the front door and walk back in and maybe that would...
