I never leave reviews but I had to on this place. âNIGHTMARE!â
Living here has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I've had with an apartment complex. If you're considering moving in, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The management team is extremely unresponsive. Phone calls and emails are rarely returned, and when you do manage to reach someone, they're either dismissive or give you the runaround or just plan hang up on you. There is no sense of urgency or accountability when problems arise. You're basically on your own once you sign the lease. Be prepared to constantly double check your charges. They overcharge and even try to make residents pay for mistakes that are clearly on their end. The gates to the complex are almost always broken, defeating the purpose of having a "GATED COMMUNITY". There is no visible security presence, and anyone can enter the property at any time. The trash bins are always overflowing, and it often feels like no one is maintaining basic cleanliness or safety standards. Package theft is a huge issue here. The mailroom is supposed to be secure, but it's not. Multiple residents, including myself, have had packages stolen. Again, management is no help they just shrug it off and take no accountability for failing to keep resident property safe. When you move out, expect to be charged for things that are part of normal wear and tear, like painting and cleaning even if you leave the unit in livable condition. It feels like a money grab, plain and simple. They treat move-outs as an opportunity to charge tenants for things they shouldn't be responsible for. The environment feels neglected, unsafe, and overpriced for the quality of service and amenities. And one last thing to make matters worse, the on-site staff is unprofessional and rarely available when you need them. Isaiah, who's supposed to be in the office to assist residents, is almost never there. Instead, he's often seen walking around the complex, talking on his phone, parking his Tesla in every parking spot open, but not actually addressing resident issues. Perla initially comes across as kind and understanding, but when it comes to getting real help such as assistance with a mailbox key or information on how to obtain a replacement it turns into a frustrating runaround. Instead of providing straightforward answers or helpful options, the communication becomes evasive. To make matters worse, she has hung up the phone during calls, which feels disrespectful and unprofessional. Itâs disappointing when someone whoâs supposed to help residents seems more interested in deflecting responsibility than actually resolving issues. As for Kendall the manager she comes off as completely disingenuous. Interactions with her feel fake and dismissive not someone who makes you feel welcome or supported as a resident. It's clear the staff is more focused on appearances than actually helping the people who live here. Again everyone claims to be the manager, but no one manages anything. This place might look fine on the surface, but don't be fooled. It's overpriced, poorly managed, and full of hidden headaches. Between the constant mismanagement, lack of security, stolen packages, and dishonest billing practices, living here is more stressful than it's worth.
Glad to be out...
Read moreupdate: 12/15/24 this place is the worst place to rent. nobody is ever in the front office. nobody ever ever ever answers the phone. they leave the voicemail box full and you canât leave a voice message.
â
these apartments have so much potential and so little initiative to do better. the front office is almost non existent and go days without answering phones/emails. actually, they never respond to emails other than pricilla - so you have to catch her when sheâs in office. pricilla is great when i can get a hold of her. the maintenance guy manny is great and always tries to help me out when i file a ticket.
everything here is broken, doesnât work, or thereâs an excuse as to why/when itâll be fixed.
when we first moved in, our apartment wasnât cleaned on time and we moved in after our agreed move in date. then, we had no hot water for the first month. and on and off, we still experience low hot water levels. next, we have issues with roaches. we were the first tenants to move into this unit, and we are extremely clean. pest control said yes roaches are an issue at this complex and they are normally only downstairs - lol. pest control said theyâd be back in 2-3 weeks and never came back. the front gates are always broken. aka anyone can get into our âluxuryâ apartment parking lot. my car got vandalized in the parking lot and perla said the cameras donât work here anyway. i was told to just file a police report.
today, we canât flush toilets and have no water pressure. i called the front office and perla simply said âyeah, thereâs a broken pipe in the building. we have no idea when itâll be fixed but hopefully soonâ you would think weâd get an email notice or something to let us know what to expect or warning us that something like water, isn't working.
the effort from the front office is the issue. thereâs zeroooo initiative, zero communications other than food trucks and smoking violations (which by the way, everyone still smokes on the property lol). id much rather have smokers in our community than broken everything. but anyway, the zero accountability or acknowledgement from the front office IS the issue.
anyway, i really like the layout of the units, the modern looks, but i wouldnât classify these apartments as luxurious or anything spectacular. neighbors feel the same. but it is what it is for the...
Read moreWhat landlords check during an inspection During an annual inspection, the landlord will generally perform a walk-through to assess the overall state of the property, including: Structural issues: Checking for any cracks, leaks, or water damage on walls, floors, and ceilings. Appliances: Ensuring all landlord-provided appliances, such as the stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher, are functioning properly. Safety features: Testing smoke and carbon monoxide detectors to ensure they work. Some leases may require tenants to replace batteries. Plumbing: Inspecting for leaks under sinks and checking the function of toilets and faucets. Electrical systems: Confirming that all electrical outlets, switches, and fixtures are working correctly. Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC): Checking that systems are operational and, in some cases, replacing air filters. Pest control: Looking for any signs of infestations. Lease compliance: Verifying that the tenant is following rules regarding pets, unauthorized occupants, or unapproved alterations to the property.
Respect for privacy: Landlords are not permitted to search through your personal belongings, such as drawers or other furniture that you own. Their inspection is limited to the condition of the property itself.
Im just wondering, The annual apartment inspections it is appropriate to took pictures of Inside the refrigerator, sink cabinet, my washing machine, and bathroom drawer, with out permissions? I don't know what the purpose of these pictures. Because, I respect what we called permission and Privacy of the Tenants.
