I have nothing but great things to say about The White Dress! This was the first bridal shop that I went to so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but my experience was amazing from the minute I walked in the door. Everyone made me feel so comfortable, special and beautiful and they have such a wide variety to pick from (both style and price)! My stylist, Krystin, was so happy, polite and helpful…she was able to quickly figure out ‘my style’ and offered great feedback and recommendations. My family and I (7 of us total) had a pretty private area, and other friendly faces from the shop would pop into the room periodically throughout my visit to offer additional feedback, including the owner Kristy, which was very helpful (always nice to get feedback from the experts)!
I loved quite a few of the dresses that I tried on during my visit, but the third dress that I tried on instantly wowed me and my family members. I didn’t buy it that day but couldn’t stop thinking about it after we left (even after trying on 10+ more dress) so I ended up going back a week later to try it on again and ordered it (I said YES to the dress!!).
I emailed the shop with some questions after my first visit and Kristy, the owner, answered all of my questions and always responded very quickly. She even remembered me from my visit the week prior which really impressed me since she meets so many brides on a daily basis. She offered to let me come in early for my second visit, before the shop opened, since they were completely booked that day. Kristy was there during my second visit and recognized me right away, and my stylist that day, Katelyn, was just as friendly and helpful.
I went to three other dress shops after visiting TWD and the experience just wasn’t the same at any of them… the other shops were okay (but not great). TWD definitely has the biggest selection out of all of the shops I went to and by far the friendliest staff. One of the shops that I went to wouldn’t even let me look at or pick dresses on my own – they insisted on picking for me based on pictures that I showed them. At TWD, they gave me space and let me and my family look around so I could decide what I wanted to try on – but also brought in some dresses that they thought I would like too. Overall, TWD definitely gets 5+ stars in my book. Hands down the best dress shop in the area!! Thanks for making this...
Read moreI am not one to post reviews, however, when it comes to my wedding dress.. I was terribly upset. First off, I live 45 minutes to an hour away.. I went in there 5 different times for dress alterations.. two of the times was because I wanted to add extra fabric to my dress, so that was on me. The seamstress Maria did not take any of my request, I kept telling her I needed the dress taken in and she would tell me she would handle it, the next dress fitting i'd go to, it would be the same thing and the dress would still be huge. I get it, specific material you can only take in so much.. but that's not the part that upset me. I had gone in on Wednesday (3 days before my wedding) to pick up my wedding dress.. as i mentioned before I had added some fabric to my train and Maria was supposed to make sure that the lining was the same length as the fabric that was added.. (I was in there 2 weeks prior and I was promised this would be done) my mom kept telling me to try my dress on when I picked it up and I was confident that Maria would do this since it was a persons WEDDING DRESS! Thank goodness I listened to my mom. The extra fabric was WAY longer than the dress on my left side and it was EXTREMELY noticeable. The manager Kristy was helping me and told me she couldn't confirm if Maria had done her job or not, which to me is ridiculous, she also stated there wasn't really anything they could do because Maria wasn't in that day and they had no other seamstress.. Luckily, one other lady was there and tried to HAND STITCH my dress. It was so unprofessional. 3 days before my wedding and they were STILL fixing my dress. This was now my 7th time driving all that way. Before all of this I had recommended 3 other brides to this Store. Unfortunately, after all the hassle I had to go through, 2 of the girls that got their dresses there refuse to have alterations done and are going elsewhere. Not to mentions, I paid over $1,000.00 on alterations and the dress never even fit the way it was supposed to. After I left that appointment, I ended up going to another seamstress so she could fix something that was already supposed to be done. She felt so bad for me that she didn't even charge me. I was baffled at how a Manager handled the situation and I would never recommend them to anyone ever again. By far the worst service I have...
Read moreI could not have had a better wedding dress shopping experience than I did at The White Dress. Right from the start we were welcomed and given rings to hang on the dresses I wanted to try, plus I showed them dresses I liked from their website and they pulled those for me as well. With a budget under $1500 there were still plenty of dresses that I loved. I thought my budget would be an issue but it really wasn't at all. I had hoped to stay around $1000 but was happy to pay an extra $200 for my dream dress.
We worked with the owner, Kristy, who was extremely helpful. The best part, and what made this experience stand out from my experience at another nearby dress shop, was how genuine Kristy was. She conversed with me like we were friends rather than sounding fake and scripted, and it made the day that much more fun. Also, there was no push for me to commit or buy at all! This was actually the first place I looked, so although I found a dress that I absolutely loved I still wanted to look at at least one other place, and we had an another appointment that day. Kristy encouraged me to go to that appointment and promised to make room for me to come back and try the dress on again later that day if I still wanted it because she knew her shop was nearly 2 hours from my home. I went to my other appointment, was very unsatisfied with the selection and staff, and called Kristy to let her know I was coming back. As promised, we were given another room and I got to "say yes to the dress" while wearing it and drinking champagne with my family and friends. I was even told to take as much time as I wanted in the dress! I never felt rushed or unimportant, and my original appointment went on longer than it was supposed to without me realizing it and without a word from Kristy. And to top it all off, the dress is absolutely perfect! I'm so thankful to Kristy and her entire team for making this once in a lifetime experience...
