I just on August 1, 2025 had the absolute worst experience at Buckhead Nails & Spa Pedicure in Brookhaven. Tommy was to remove my acrylic nails and do a manicure, and Cindy was doing my pedicure. Tommy was extremely aggressive. He used fake nails to try and snatch off the acrylic nails in a very aggressive way the acrylic nails. I told him that I wanted to soak them first because thatās what I was used to. He told me that that would take too long. I am the customer, and if Iām there to wait, then that shouldāve been what I was given. He continued to pull the nails off aggressively and tore the nail beds of two of my nails, which started to both bleed. He never apologized. He looked at me stone-faced. I told him it was hurting and to soak them before continuing. Tommy insisted on pouring some unknown green liquid substance on the bleeding nails, saying it would help, and before I could ask what it was, he put a drop on my bleeding nails, and I nearly jumped out of the chair because of the burn from this unknown substance. I immediately had Tommy pour from my bottle of water onto my fingers to now calm the burn!!
What makes this worse is that I am in a cast for my left wrist, which is broken. With this temporary disability, I depend on my right hand to manage my day-to-day activities. Now I have a cast on the left wrist, which I canāt use that hand, and I have two bleeding nails that are very painful on the right hand. I asked for the Manager who took over from Tommy. The emotional pain and suffering were so unbearable that I was in tears. The manager gave me a tissue to wipe my eyes. I am so incredibly frustrated with how this has made a bad situation of only being able to use one hand even worse!
Cindy, who was to do my pedicure, completed the process and never used the callus remover to remove any of the dead skin until I asked her if she was gonna still do that. The manager was there when Cindy admitted she had not used the callus remover process. So after having painted my toes, them now she goes back and uses the callus remover.
This was a horrible experience as a new customer. Tommy never apologized. He proceeded to go and service another client with pleasantries, who just so happened not to look like me, and Iāll leave that right there. This is a horrible experience, and I will never set foot in there again. I would suggest if you choose to go here to never go to Tommy or Cindy as they are lazy and neither seems to care. Today is August 1, 2025 a day I probably will not forget. I am voice texting due to the pain in my right hand and not being able to use my left hand, and they did a great job making it all worse! I was not able to get my nails painted, which was my goal, and they literally wanted to paint eight of them and leave two of them out....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhere to begin? I was sent back to get a full set of nails but with dip as the color. I spent 10 minutes trying to relate that to the guy that was helping me. I say help very loosely. He proceeds to prepare my nails and discuss with me how the shape I wanted wasnāt a good shape. š¤¦āāļø Fast forward to where Iām not paying attention as I wanted to relax and he starts painting my nails with nail paint. After seeing him using naiI polish, I was so upset. When my nails get polished, no matter how long I let them dry, I mess them up!
I left that day for a trip to Pennsylvania. I had three nails come off within 24 hours. Now itās been a week, and almost all of them have come off. They look ghetto. And I still donāt think they knew what I was talking about. If I couldāve walked out of there without paying I definitely would. Worst experience I have ever had while getting nails done!
I have no problems if the person doing my nails has a language barrier as long as SOMEONE in there was able to interpret for both of us. Not one person could speak English and they (manager and worker) didnāt seem to care. I walked out of there extremely stressed and extremely disappointed. I would not recommend this company to anyone. $109 wasted. I had pedicure done also. It wasnāt enjoyable either and didnāt ask me what length I wanted. I was so upset about the nails on my fingers, that I was ready to get out of there. Now I may have fungus developing on my big toe! Wonder where they get their glue? š§ It doesnāt adhere well at all. Bottom Line: If I could have given them a zero...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI used to come here to get a full set or refill when my main nail tech wasnāt available. They usually always do a pretty good job.
This time, I had the guy that sits directly in the front (to the left when he ādidā my nails). He seemed to be the main one greeting people as they walked in.
Long story short, he CONNED me into completely taking off my NEW full set because āhe didnāt have the shapeā of nail tip that I wanted. ā [ Mind you, Iām a Master Cosmetologist, I knew he could just file the tip to the shape I desired, but I didnāt want to tell him how to do āhis jobā ]. So I was thinking Iām completely changing the shape now. Which would have been fine. JUST for him to tell me that the OTHER shape I had ālooks betterā, so he files the tip BACK to the shape I hadā (that he apparently ādidnātā have the shape of)
After I got played, he lays the acrylic on and starts to shape my nails. He made EVERY. SINGLE. NAIL. CROOKED. I politely let him know that every nail was crooked. And this man laughs in my face and tells me that ALL of MY FINGERS are crooked.
I stopped the service right there, asked him how much I owed.. and it was $45. For an incomplete, unpolished VERY CROOKED and unnecessary full set of bs. It took everything in me not to cause a scene.
I will be letting STATE BOARD know to definitely give them a visit, as many things and employees in there were not up...
