The food: This has become a go-to for coffee and breakfast. Every dish I have had is delicious, and the seasonal options are wonderful. The shakshuka is a menu staple and has been a repeat dish for me, and Lemon Poppy Seed pancakes are my current seasonal favorite. Have an iced brown sugar latte solo or with a dish, it's so so good.

Pro tip: the gluten free cinnamon roll is better than the regular one. I can't explain it but it is true, and I appreciate our favorite Host (Russ) for encouraging me to try it. I also enjoy ordering from the gluten free menu for different side pairings with some of the staple dishes. They're happy to provide one or both menus any time.

Speaking of staff. Wow, they are friendly, knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely seem to enjoy their work. That doesn't just happen, and I applaud them for the team they have built and the effort they put in to provide such great service, in a tidy and bright environment, that is not too loud even at it's busiest (although it is plenty large). Thank you to our recent server Alondra for the reminder about the rewards program, and their birthday treat if you are a member! (This location offers a pancake stack to celebrate your birthday. The Parking: Parking is free! This is a new initiative from the complex they're in. This was a really great experience. Currently writing this as I’m sitting down and just finished my meal, the entire cafe and team is very professional. Everything from the clean and well designed interior to the custom coffee mugs with the company’s logo and great service is just exceptional and a really good addition to the location. Food service in general can be stressful due to the constant need for multitasking, going from doing something which could be physically stressful to immediately welcoming guests in a warm friendly manner, but they do a very good job at running a smooth operation and selecting the best people. Terrible. I have been coming to egg harbor for a long time and the sandwich I ordered for take out was atrocious. The avocado wasn’t even avocado. It was smeared and brown all over the sandwich. It was clearly old so they made it more into a guacamole instead. This sandwich comes with sliced avocado, not mashed. Makes a huge difference as it’s obvious they knew it was rotten yet still put it in my sandwich. There was also a disgusting amount of mayo that soaked the bread. I order this every time but this location is off my radar. Pictures say everything. Ended up throwing the entire thing out. Never had this experience. Would like a refund for that sandwich atleast. Should never have a sandwich like that.
