The Res as I call it is a tranquil Retreat for me. Whether to just lay in the sun on grassy terrain, walk, or just chill it's my favorite place throughout the year to get away from the hustle & bustle of city noise et. The Reservoir offers mirror- like Images of surrounding trees & georgous Sunsets anytime of the year. Mostly, I enjoy the sound of Birds & Families of Geese as well as Ducks swimming in the water. People fish and families frolic, many picnic. I've also enjoyed watching my Son doing Yoga on the grass. The loop around the pond is just under 1 mile (about 1.6 km), flat, and easy to navigate. Parking is generally easy, and the park is dog-friendly, with a clean environment, restrooms, and several benches to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Read moreThis is a lovely Reservoir Park - there is a wide, flat path that goes all the way around the Reservoir that leaves plenty of space for runners and those on a leisurely walk to enjoy the path together without always needing to jump out of the way of each other.
There are benches scattered around if you want to sit and enjoy the scenery for a bit, and several people were enjoying them with a book. I went with a friend and we paused to chat on a bench.
