North Midway Park — Attraction in Broomfield

A fantastic place to sit and contemplate. I would highly recommend the north-facing bench by the water, but the shaded bench to the south is also a good one. Both provide a nice view of the water and softball field. Western bench is not too bad, but I don't like the angle at which it's positioned. I much prefer the others. Eastern bench I have yet to try - perhaps someday I'll give it a go.

This is a popular place for geese in the fall and winter. Mallard ducks also frequent the area in pairs. The geese and the ducks get along for the most part, but I have seen the occasional squabble.

Beware...

quaint little park with enough space to roam around and not get bored. There's a beautiful very tiny pain with an even more beautiful tiny bridge. On one side of the street where this park lies they have a beautiful covered picnic area with restrooms. They also decorate for the holidays very nicely around here especially...
