Brownwood's Lyric Theatre — Attraction in Brownwood

Omigosh, Omigosh, Omigosh! We drove 90 miles to see "Legally Blond" performed at the Lyric. The trip up felt short because on the way, we listened to the soundtrack and talked about how beautiful the drive was. We thoroughly enjoyed the show - The actors were phenomenal, the tech work seemed flawless, and the set was so fun!! We spent the entire trip home talking about how he we loved the show, our favorite lines, and our favorite cast members. When I mentioned to a friend how great the show was, she said, "Shows at The Lyric are always great!"

I've lived in the Central Texas area off and on, all of my life. But I had no idea there was a theater of this caliber nearby. My wife and I attended a performance of "Always, Patsy Cline" because a co-worker was playing the role of Patsy Cline. I found out after speaking with her that the theater had undergone a complete renovation within the past several years. The sound, lighting and acoustics are all top-notch for being such a cozy and intimate space. Whether I’m in a production, or watching one, the Lyric Theatre never disappoints! The amount of talent and dedication displayed in this venue is absolutely deserving of 5 Stars!
