Weakley-Watson Ace Hardware — Attraction in Brownwood

Great place to go if you need something for home improvement, but need help finding just the right product. If u are attempting to fix something at home, but could use a little advice on selecting right items, then this is the place to go. Staff will actually seek you out just to see if be you need help, and if they we y don't have an item you need they will order it for you. When I needed parts to install a new dishwasher, first like many others do, u went to the big orange box store(Home Depot). After walking around that store for a few miles, not finding a worker, or finding them huddled around in a circle talking; I finally decided to just walk up to one and ask where to find parts I needed. I was told "that's in plumbing, and that's not my dept, you will want to look for that person" so, I decided to leave and try ACE, since I lived by it.

I walked into ACE, and was immediately greeted by staff and asked if I needed help with anything. That person walked me over to a hookup kit for dishwashers and even recommended an electrician to hookup...

I love their gun selection and ammo very well stocked few times I've gone guy was very helpful with ammo and bags. But they hand you the ammo and then you walk away and the other employees start following you around as if you're going to steal the ammo... If you're so insecure about customers buying ammo maybe you should have someone walk it to the counter and hold it until the customer is ready to check out. Makes me feel uncomfortable when I'm constantly being followed by men over a small ammo box. When I approached the counter the woman at the counter took the ammo and took 30 seconds starring at me up and down. I get that I'm a different color than you but I doesn't give you the right to make me feel belittled. Anyways I love the guns and the man...

Vanessa at Weakly Watson has earned the 5 stars I give this place and the other lady at the register I call Hats for all the crazy Hats she wears Vanessa cut a new key for my work truck which wouldn't start because key fob had failed she followed me out to make sure key worked noticed my truck had the stupidest thing ever placed on a Ford the MY KEY switch activated told me she could turn it off for me no charge the Ford house said they were the only place that could be done unless I had 2 keys and info how or they could do it for $160 Vanessa not only turned it off thank god but charged nothing to do so and help me because she could that is why I rate 5stars oh and they have a great selection of faucets parts our supply...
