Went to the Brunswick, GA Farmer's Market today for the first... Found that there was a variety of vendors that sold local produce from their farms as well as from out of state and country.
There were homemade products of jams, jellies, pickles, relish and other items. I went with the intention of just browsing but ended up talking with each vendor and coming away feeling grateful I went...
As well as two bags filled with things I needed: fresh avocados, mangos, homemade sweet lime pickles, black & blue jam (blackberry and blueberry) from Maxine's country kitchen made by Dennis, Earlleen's home made deserts - sad cake, buttermilk pie, lemon pound cake, boiled peanuts, tomatoes, squash, cucumber, Lemon balm and French lavender plants from Miriam's greenhouse blooms. What a golden first half of Saturday!!!

Tasted like parmesan cheese melted alittle. Well maybe this summer it will get...
