We shorted one set of wings but still charged for it. We paid one bar tab of over $100 and then we paid another bar tab of $33 and then another for 128 I gave her a hundred plus my card and she tried to charge me another 58 after I gave her a hundred umm maybe send them back to basic math class!!! They were so rude when I told them umm your math is wrong!!! Never again the rudeness and and the over charging!! Please be careful of this place all they water down their liquor I’ll be reporting them to the liquid board!! Worst place ever and the bartender called my girl stupid dude I’m the stupid one for tipping you your owner was jealous of my beautiful friend way to run a business not!!!
Rely to Tipsys Owner. Oh no honey see you can’t even remember who was at your bar last night. That’s our friend your talking about and before I even got there y’all had over served her and continued to serve her through out the night. If she had of drove out of there and something had of happened to her that would of been traced back to y’all and the to go alcohol cups y’all gave us to leave with. Y’all are lucky we made sure she got home safe. You wanted to put on your fake face and be all nice over serving her running up a ridiculous and incorrect tab and as soon as we paid up you then threatened to call the cops. You threatened to call the cops when we had her at the bar with a coke trying to sober her up some before we left. As of then she was sitting there talking with me in a non disturbing manner. You are a disgrace to the establishment and now we understand why y’all have the required that you do and I think it’s funny how you can reply to this like you did. You want to talk about dignity? Stop over serving your customers and then threatening to call the cops on them when you want them gone because your establishment over served them. I was the last of my bunch to come in and did my best to help her after your over serving and trust me I see it every first Friday. And y’all hand out liquor in to go cups like...
Read moreI moved to Brunswick close to a month ago and decided it was time to try out my first bar. This one came highly recommended by the owner of an antique store I had popped into. I walked in and was immediately welcomed. I had planned to sit at a table and do some writing but instead was convinced to sit at the bar. It was a good choice. I always like to hang at a local place and get a feel for where I'm living. Eric, the bartender, was fantastic. Honestly he was the friendliest person I've met in Brunswick and by far provided the best service I've had here. As far as the other customers I met...well.. Let's just say I'm feeling more convinced today I don't belong here than I was when I woke up this morning. I had conversations with two people, both started out nicely. I'm not much of one for small talk but I tried my best. You know...the weather...travel...books... And it was quickly clear he was an overt racist. He left and another sat down. Once again, everything started out charming. He started discussing religion and I know better than that so I changed the topic. He mentioned Irish Catholics so I said oh! I've applied for my Irish citizenship. Then he asked why I would do that and I said the chance to be an EU citizen and get that sweet, sweet socialized healthcare and oh wow! I could see the veins almost popping in his head. He went off on a anti-socialized medicine tirade and I thought he was going to have a heart attack. I couldn't even try to change the topic. I couldn't get a word in edgewise. I finally cut him off, excused myself, and left. Note to self:: if you go back for trivia next week don't talk to anyone!!! I'm trying so hard to like Brunswick. I'm going out, I think I've already tried 20 local restaurants, I'm friendly, I try to chit chat with people. Whew! Brunswick does...
Read moreFunky chips are the absolute bomb! They area a very crispy potato chip covered in que oso and wing dip with chicken and blue cheese. Simple and yet a taste we have never experienced before. We couldn’t believe how amazing they were.
Everytime we are in town this is a must stop lunch or dinner place. Great atmosphere and on weekends live music that’s really good. The drinks are also amazing and so my husband is happy to try all the different yummy drinks and I’m estatic that they have a draft hard cider.
For food my husband has tried the gobbler sandwich - that he said was great. The onion rings were a different type of batter that he said was great too especially the extra crispy ones. Tonight he tried the smash dog with a totally fixed up hot dog.
I of course am a creacher of habit and once I tried their amazing salad I can’t order anything else and I’m not a huge salad lover but the ingredients are so fresh with the freshest of greens, and fresh Parmesan cheese, homemade croutons, fresh cucumber and coated in their home made ceasar dressing. Yum! To say I’m looking forward to this fresh salad is an understatement. My husband even said it’s a salad how can you like it that much. I honestly think it’s the fresh ingredients, great grilled chicken and maxing homemade ceasar (without the anchovies y’all). I’m in my happy place here. Why there is not a line out the door...
