Update 12/30/24 See my Google review, this is an add-on. After my review, the used car manager called me and stated that he would take care of the dent. He specifically said "wedo not sell used vehicles with dents, I purchased the vehicle so quickly he didnt inspect....and he would take care of it and send it to the body shop, and he would also give me a free detail." We set a time and a date to meet and as I shared other experiences with him, he said that he would try to make time for us to meet with paul, the sales manager. So I arrived at my scheduled time and date, he was not there, he never showed and in fact he had the day off. They took my vehicle to the body shop on site and specifically stated that they would match factory paint and do a touch up. I was not expecting a touch up. See my picture for the before and after, which is absolutely ridiculous. It looks worse after the touch up. Not just the paint they added, but the metal is wavy. After patiently waiting, they never performed the detail on the vehicle and subsequently I was approached by the general sales manager who said that he would cover half the cost of the body work not honoring the used car sales managers promise and guarantee. They continue to do feed me words of inconsequential matter and jargon, in an attempt to back pedal out of the promise they made me. The GSM said he needed to talk the UCM to confirm the promise I was made and get back to me on Monday. They are liars. The epitome of the stereotype we know! In the 5 or 6+ vehicles I've purchased, I have never dealt with a more incompetent and negligent dealership. (Posted on Google 1.5 weeks ago) Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience. It took 6 hours to get out of the dealership when buying a vehicle. Yes, 6 hours. The financing paperwork is unrealistically long - doesn't matter your credit score. They ran my credit 6 times without asking (those are hard inquiries). My score is 760 - at times higher, with a good credit and payment history. I had to correct them on many mistakes throughout the contract; name, address, email, etc. - Wow! I should've walked away at that point. The vehicle price shown on their website is false - they don't show you the Dealer add-ons, so once you arrive at the Dealership is when you learn true cost of the vehicle; and some add-ons you can't remove - they are required with the buy - those cost should be transparent. As well, their vehicles are across 3 different lots. Be patient if you want to look at more than 1..ugh. And, don't buy at night - only arrive during morning or early afternoon before it gets dark, otherwise you will be there until 11pm, like me. I walked around the vehicle I purchased (which I love) and saw no cosmetic issues - I told the salesperson that I was particular when it comes that - he knew my needs. After leaving the dealership at 11pm, waking up the next morning finding a 'puncture' on the side of the vehicle, that someone tried to cover with white paint or substance. In my opinion, this happened when the vehicle was take to the back or driven to the gas station for fill up. It was like pulling teeth to talk to anyone about this, and days before sales would call me back. After making several attempts to reach someone, they didn't bother answering my calls, simply just transfer me to a mailbox that doesn't take voicemail - RUDE! I've sent several emails asking for documentation on the dealer installed items - wanted proof...Haven't heard from anyone. And so on....it just keeps going. This is poor service, all around. This is not my first car buying experience, so I understand the process and what to expect..This dealership failed. Lastly, the salesperson call me and said that they have agreed to take care of the puncture. I provided available days, like they asked - haven't heard back. Jeez! I hope this review helps someone. I'd also like to point out that at no time have I become upset, irate, irrational, unable to work with, overbearing, etc. This is how they treat new clients.

This dealership fits the description of used car dealerships; dishonest. I bought a used 2023 Mercedes sprinter with 2500 miles on it, and here's what happened. They lied to me in 2 ways: 1. They made me buy one of their dealership add-ons of paint protection stating, "we have already added the protective coating to the vehicle," and even threatened to not sell me the car if I didn't pay the few hundred dollars for an add-on I didn't want. I mentioned that the car looked dirty so it didn't seem like a coating could have been added to which they laughed at me and said "cars get dirty when they sit on the lot." Unfortunately I didn't have a ladder to check the roof of the tall sprinter van I bought, but as you can see from the picture of my roof, it is clear this vehicle hasn't been washed in months much less a protective coating added. They robbed me of ~$400 for an add on that wasn't added on and something I didn't even want in the first place. 2. As soon as I got home from buying it, the check engine light turned on. I took it to the Mercedes dealership and they found the problem. They then checked the last time (how many miles ago) the check engine light had been cleared, and it was the exact range of miles as when this HGREG dealership had it. Obviously I can't 100% prove this, but it looks like they cleared the light without fixing the issue knowing the light wouldn't come on for another 30 miles and then sold me a broken van. I suppose it’s not surprising, but it's always unfortunate when a company reinforces the bad reputation of a dishonest car salesmen. If you can, avoid this dealership , their dishonesty, and classless behavior.

It happened on 1/20/25 Review edit fix grammar English Warning please ‘Do not’ buy a car with seller name Chris. If you did you will end up like me. He is lie seller. I went to buy a new car, and at the time, I noticed a small scratch on the bumper. However, the seller, Chris, said it was just dust and assured me that it would come off after a car wash. After signing the paperwork and taking the car home, the scratch on the bumper was still there. I asked the manager about it, and he explained that this sometimes happens with plastic bumpers. I told him that this shouldn’t happen on a brand-new car at all. I was extremely upset and tried to talk to Chris about the scratch, but he didn’t help and got angry at me. He said that scratches on the bumper are normal for brand-new cars. However, I told him that this should not happen at all with a brand-new car from a dealership. I asked if there was anything he could do to fix the scratch. I didn’t ask for a discount or anything extra—I just wanted the dealership to take responsibility because the scratch wasn’t caused by me but was already there. After that, he became rude and started yelling at me outside. He said, “If you don’t want the car, just leave it here,” and then walked away without doing anything to help. I was extremely upset, especially since the seller, Chris, was so rude. He’s an older Mexican man. Again I do not recommend buying a car from Chris at all. P.S. I’m giving one extra star to the manager, Nick. He was very nice and tried his best to solve the problem.

I can't deal with this anymore.

I bought 2025 Nissan Leaf on September 23 2025. It is the worst car buying experience I have ever encountered.

I had high expectations because Joshua Smith and Nick were sort of hospitable and professional, and they gave me some deals before I stepped foot at the dealership.

When Nissan ran my credit, I had 862 credit score. Tariq ran my credit 7 times, and my credit score decreased. This is after Tariq said, "you have good credit. I don't want to shop around." Tariq gave a rate that was insulting, said he does this for a living, bank set the rate, and he could not do more. With Josh's urging, Sales Manager Paul called the Bank to reduce rate. Sales Manager Paul did work that Finance Manager Tariq who "does this for living" could not do.

Tariq put forms in front of me that had mistakes: wrong email address, wrong employer, wrong monthly salary, wrong job title. He corrected the form 4 times before I could sign it. Then, electronically, Tariq wanted me to sign the same paperwork that had all the mistake. I said no. Tariq responded, "Please, it is 11 o'clock." I told him to make the corrections first. Tariq said 2 times repeatedly, "You are making this hard." "You make everything hard." EXCUSE ME! How dare I not e-sign wrong finance contract he quickly built? I am not sure if he is like this to everyone or just me, because I am a 4'11" woman who came to Buena Park on Tueasday night after working full time.

My first 2 cars were brand new 2019 BMW and brand new 2023 BMW. This new 2025 Nissan Leaf is my 3rd car. Yet, I have never been treated this dismissively, so callously, with such disrespect, so pushy, and horribly.

If I, with 862 credit score, am treated like this, how about people who has less than 862 credit score?

Joshua said via text he will try to get me closer to $4,500 Dealer Discount that Riverside Nissan was offering, in additional to $7,500 EV credit. Well, he got me $3,500 Dealer Discount, add-ons with no cost, and $789 gap insurance. Not the $4,500 Dealer Discount. Josh got me $3,500 Dealer Discount and add-ons. Josh is the person I trusted the most in Dealership, he tried his best, and he was mostly nice to me.

Guess what? At the month of October 2025, the website shows $4,500 Dealer Discount on the car. Couldn't Sales Managers, Finance Managers, and owner approve the $4,500 Dealer Discount when I came the week before?

Guess who feels like fool? Me.

Kelley Blue Book shows that car is worth $11,000 less than out the door price.

They gave me basic charger that takes 14 hours to charge 40%. Behind the basic charger, there is an adapter to 240V, but I would need to pay electrician to install 240V outlet. There are so many restrictions. I am constantly worried about the car. Car came with NO floor mats.

Only the driver side window rolls down fully with a press button. You adjust side mirrors with a knob, not buttons. Yet the MSRP is $40,000. My 2023 BMW x1 MSRP was $42,000, yet it came with more features.

I have never felt a bigger buyer's remorse. Constantly, I play the night of car purchase in my head over and over again.

When I reach out to Dealer, no one answers me. I am tired. I am exhausted. I am depleted. I only had the car for 13 days.

Finance Manager said there is no pre- payment penalty. Contract said there is prepayment fee. Another issue from Buena Park Nissan.

Update: I heard some people are getting heat for this review. It appears people are upset with me, rather than advising Finance Manager.

I was already sad because I was economize from BMW. We were already tired from working full 8 hours, commuting, and having an evening appointment. I expected a quick sign off, because we already spent days discussing deals. .. inside the dealership was not a good experience.

I am left wondering: would it have been better for everyone if I did not purchase the car? Does Nissan Buena Park wish that I was never a client?

All I know is my feelings, worries, panic, stress, discomfort, unhappiness, misery, and...
