Budget Car Rental — Attraction in Burbank

absolutely do not rent from here. they rented us an unsafe van for a 5 week trip. Within 2 days the oil light was on so we had to stop to have that handled. And when we entered that part of our trip which required us driving through snow storms in Denver, we realized there was no tread on our tires. They rented us a vehicle with old unsafe tires. We had to stop our work trip, miss out on a paid gig to have them replaced and PAY out of pocket. It’s been 3 months of him telling us he would refund us and he has not. He’s lied to me repeatedly saying the refund was processed and it’s not. to add insult to injury, a month after I got a letter saying i was being charged $450 for a cleaning fee. When i messaged budget corporate - they said the mileage did not match my rental and reversed it. Corporate also refunded me $500 as an apology for having to cancel a work gig and the man at this location tried to claim that because of that he couldn’t refund me for the tires - which is a lie. Corporate told me he had to be the one to do that separately. This entire process has been so awful and time consuming nevermind the fact that they rented us a completely unsafe car that I had to personally buy new tires for all this man has STILL NOT refunded me for. The worst budget car rental location ever! Be aware of the scam! I went to this location with my brother to this location, rent a car to be returned to San Francisco. The rep asked us whether we need to upgrade to roadside assistance, both my brother and I clearly stated No. I asked him " Is there any additional charges", he stated "no, no charge, please sign." and my brother sign after he saw no balance on the screen. Later on, when he returned to car in San Francisco, he was charged for almost $60 for roadside assistance services that we declined at the first beginning. And that was not the only scam, when we picked up the car, he told us that it's full tank of gas. We checked and there was only 4/5, and I told him to mark on the agreement, he refused and said it's ok, just return with the same level of gas to SF and we won't be charged. I told him, either fuel the gas or state on the agreement, he just walked away without telling a word. I had to go inside again and talk to another person to get the gas fueled. I just dropped off my second car in as many weeks with Victor at This Budget and I would give more stars if I could. I ended up here a few weeks ago when my car sounded terrible on my way up to the mountains for a birthday trip. Victor upgraded me to a jeep wrangler and was kind and helpful. The jeep was great, and was perfect for our trip to big bear.

Then my car needed way too much work so I needed to rent a car while I figured out what I was going to do. I immediately booked at this budget again, Victor got me in and out in minutes. I bought a new car so I returned the car early and got some money back! I told him I hope I never see him again, but if I need a car, this is the place for me. I’ve already told multiple friends that this budget was the best car renting experience I’ve ever had! Thank you, Victor!
