I came to Studio Horse Rental last month with a friend just to go for a fun ride, as we both had been wanting to spend more time with horses. I’d previously been on a trail ride out in Malibu with a different group, which was all fun, but their prices were a bit high. I found that Studio Horse Rental’s prices were the best in the area from what I could find, and the experience went smoothly. I called the day before to make an appointment, and the lady I spoke to on the phone was very friendly. When we arrived, the gentlemen working were also friendly and cracked some jokes that kept us entertained, and they got us checked in quickly. The only thing that came as a bit of a surprise to me was the very quick run through on safety and horse maneuvering, but that might have just been because we expressed that we had ridden before in the past, although we were relatively inexperienced. We had our guide with us the whole time, he was very nice and knowledgeable of horses and shared stories with us along our ride. We did the 90 minute ride for $75/person, and I think we definitely got our money’s worth. We had a great time and it took up the full 90 minutes. The only little critique I’ll give is that we didn’t really get fitted for the stirrups. Mine felt too short while my friends were too long, but it didn’t affect our ability to enjoy the experience. I will definitely be coming...
Read moreLove this place. It is the stuff of my dreams. I've been coming here when it was called Circle K and you could go to the convenience store next door on your way to the weekly team penning. I used to ditch high school and take three busses just to ride and hang around horses all day. This is my jam. Javier is amazing. Katie our tourguide was amazing. I'm forever enthralled with the GOD'S MAJESTIC beauty that surrounds the scenic trail ride. Cash only. 50 for an hour is moneybwell spent to detox from the Drama of LA life. Tips...
Read moreI started coming here about 8 months ago and loved it so much that I come almost every week. It's $50 for an hour ride, which is usually more like 1 hour 15 minutes. It takes you up a trail overlooking Burbank. I've seen lots of bunnies, deer, and a coyote. I chose this place over others in the area because all of the staff are so nice, not only to me, but to the horses, which was important me. Reservations recommended in the weekend, not necessary on weekdays. Cash only....
