The demolition of this piece of great film industry history is a crime against several generations of movie and TV series fans. The city of Burbank should have issued a preservation order to Warner Brothers to prevent the demolition. Even though many of the buildings have more or less changed over the decades due to fires and production design requirements, the overall structure would still be worth preserving as an open-air museum.
