Honestly this I wouldn't even give them one star and am only doing so because it's required. Last night my husband and I went to the Burleson Premiere Cinema to see The New Mutants for the 9:50 P.M. showing. While purchasing our tickets and drinks (our total came to $32.64) my debit card was charged but the kid who rang us up (Brandon- don't remember his last name) said it was declined and didn't go through. My husband told him yes, it did and that he'd seen approved on the screen. Brandon argued and said it wasn't and we needed to run it again. I pulled up my banking app and showed him that it was listed as pending and we HAD been charged. Brandon kept insisting that it would fall off and if we wanted to see the movie we would have to run the card again. I asked what happens if it doesn't and he answered telling me we would have to come let them know and it would take a few days but would fall off. My husband went ahead and ran it again since our friends were waiting on us. However Brandon was very rude and didn't seem to care about us being charged twice. Money is not so much the issue, but what if it had been? What if our outing had been a treat for us and we'd only had the money to pay once? Your employee potentially could have completely ruined our night. Furthermore, we live in Hillsboro and I don't feel we should have to make another trip to Burleson to have this situation handled and waste gas over Brandon's screw up. My first visit to the Burleson Premiere Lux Cinema was an excellent one thanks to the young lady at the concession area who I bought my ticket from to see the 4:50 show of Sound of Hope: Possum Trot movie on 7/28/2024. By the way, I had such a desire to see this movie that I drove over 30 min from Cedar Hill, TX to see it. In my haste to see the movie, because I was a few minutes late, I left my car key and my credit card on the counter. I didn't notice that I forgot my keys until after the movie ended. I asked a male staff member behind the concession counter if my car key was found? He couldn't find my key. The young lady that assisted me earlier was busy with other customers so I didn't want to disturb her. I did notice my car key near her and was able to grab it without disturbing her interaction with her customer. I discretly thanked her and she took a quick moment to step away to ask me, "is this your card?" I didn't realize that I left my bank card too! She blessed me beyong measure! I'm thankful my car key and bank card didn't fall into the wrong hands. She told me that she wanted to bring them to me once she noticed I left them, but she became busy. The lady in the ticket booth rang me up for an extra child ticket. The "associate manager" (which almost everyone there has printed on their name tag) claimed he could not refund the price of the ticket but could put in on a gift card to spend at their theater! WTH! Then they sold us a large popcorn in a medium bag and said we could come back and get two more refills but they couldn't just give us two extra bags because of inventory reasons! So Im suppose to get up during the middle of the movie with my 3 yr old and go get the rest of my popcorn! Then when I asked for the GM's number to call in a complaint no one knew the number. So as the "associate manager" went to go find the number I heard her complaining about me to the other "associate managers" under her breath!! To top it off the bathrooms were disgusting! Pee on the floor that was already sticky from the second you walk in. Soap bags laid out on the counter instead of in the dispensers with water and used up soap all over the counter!
