QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Burleson

If I could give a negative star rating I would. For the last 2.5 years we have tried to go to the Burleson Qdoba. They food line is always dried up and they try to skimp on rice, then if they run out they do not try to get more they simply give you less on your overpriced burrito bowl and act like it is no big deal. I have consistently seen the workers come from the bathroom, maybe they washed their hands in The bathroom, but in food industry you have to wash them again and then put gloves on. The gloves protect ME from YOU. Not you from getting your hands dirty. Ever heard of Hepatitis?? They have gone between the food line and the register: no change of gloves and or taking them off after touching the register and cash. Let's talk about what time they close. Not once, not twice but THREE times we have gone there between 7-8, they close at 9, and there is trash bags everywhere ( I have worked at a restaurant- I understand prepping to leave etc ) trash all around the depleted dried up food line. They were mopping one time... more like kayaking. The entire floor was soaking wet. Im pretty sure they dumped the entire bucket everywhere. We had to walk along the window to not fall or slip. I have, on more than one occasion, watched them eat food while standing at the food prep area over what would be my food. I know there is more ridiculousness. We will never ever go there again which sucks bc my kid loves it. He cried when we left today acter walking in again tonight bc I was not gonna eat in that unsanitary environment again. Trash...

Edit: The below review is left for posterity, but I do need to add a star and truly appreciate a business for its excellent customer service. The QA people reached out to me to try their restaurant again on their dime. They definitely got the riff raft out of this location. It’s satisfying to see a business realize that undercutting on staff is a terrible thing. When I went in the last time, I was greeted, helped, and served good food in a clean and efficient environment. Well done!

This restaurant is just blah. The food isn’t bad, but isn’t good. I won’t speak ill of the staff, because there almost feels there is a pall in the whole place. The cleanliness of the restaurant just never feels good, and honestly I attribute it to them being understaffed. I don’t think I have seen more than two workers there ever. I am sure there is one in the back cooking, but if there are more employees working then there is a much larger problem. I have also never ever seen a manager or at least anyone that looks management like. The hot sauce area is basically one almost empty bottle of Chalula. The lemons/limes always look like they are days old. The prices would be ok if the food was better, but since the product is lacking... the rating is too.

This location will probably die when Chipotle opens up down the road. And, if a FreeBird’s ever decided to come to Burleson, this place...

The food was good... but the employees stole my phone! Some girl named Jasmine and her mother stole my cell phone on the night of october 8th. I came by this morning (october 9th 2023) and Jasmine denied it but I could tell she was lying. Now the cops are involved so they have come clean; However, they keep telling the cops they are bringing the phone back at 3 (ive been here since 10am) I want my phone back before they get my personal information! I'm sure this review will lead to them being terminated but at least wait till after 3 so I can attempt to get my phone back. I have owned a business before and hate to leave this review but there was not a manager to assist the cops, there wasn't a manager to answer questions b/c she wouldn't answer her phone! There is nothing worse than a liar and a thief. As a single mom, I cant afford to miss a day of wok but thanks to this Jasmine chick and her mother, ill be out even more money than I already am. I hope to God my phone is there at 3 cause if its not, they will both be leaving in handcuffs. This place should be shut down until they can find some better management. Ill even offer to work and get this place back on track where it needs to be if the pay is right. I know its hard to find good help nowadays. If Qdoba rectifies the situation by terminating their employment then ill update...
