I would like to go on record and say I didnât even get a chance to taste my food so I canât give an accurate rating on taste! But the attitude in this place left a sour taste in my mouth and I will NEVER even attempt to eat at this place again as long as that witch (and trust I used a different word) named Kye is working there! If this is who you guys choose to represent your company or store front Iâm going to recommend you guys reevaluate! Her attitude is enough to leave a bad taste in anyoneâs mouth! Iâve had mod once in a different location and the experience was the complete opposite of what I got at this location! I wanted my family to try this place out and when I got there to pick up my food it was ready before time (which was awesome)and the sweet lady at the oven verified and passed me my pizza! Naturally I opened it up and checked it and I told her âoh my sauces are all over the Pizza and not on the side like I requested?!â She calmly asked me did I want her to remake it and I told her no it was fine I will eat it as made, Thank you!â I began to walk off! Halfway to the door, I hear the other lady (Kye is what she claims her name to be) make the remark âshe didnât request sauces on the side in special comments!â In an aggressive tone!
Itâs that time of the month (tmi) so I instantly turned around snapped back âI DID PUT IT IN THE COMMENTS!â and then went to my car! I sat there for a few seconds reading over my order and COMMENTS before I realized she had me messed all the way up! Because the convo I had with the other lady was brief and understood! We didnât have an issue and I understand mistakes happen! If a comment needed to be made, respect the staff and other customers and keep it amongst you and other employees Donât be loud and wrong!
So I walked back in to clarify who made the comment and she owned up to it! And went to tell me that her system doesnât show her the special comments and it doesnât matter what my side shows! If my side didnât matter why in the hell even offer that section for customers 2.Just apologize because you misspoke due to your carelessness or inability to read directions. If there are system issues, file a ticket to not inconvenience other customers and apologize on behalf of the company
Anywho, She was dismissive to what I was trying to show her and told me doesnât matter what my side says did I want another pizza or not? And this dismissive attitude pissed me off and I cussed this girl out! With that attitude you canât do anything for me! I do apologize because I didnât have to cuss her out and sometimes we let pride get the best of us! The issue was never about the pizza the issue was that you stepped out of place and wanted animosity for whatever reason! You chose violence!
After cussing her out I went back to my car and sat for a minute and thought, I paid my money and I donât owe her or MOD PIZZA anything! I went back in for the 3rd time and told her to refund me my money and sat that pizza on the counter! This is where told her âwhat she could do for me is give me my refund!â She printed the receipt, told me I would have to wait 3-5 business days for a refund and I asked for her name at this point of the interaction! I chose to ignore the fact she made a groan and said âoh my God!â when I walked back in!
Sorry so long! I watched her get on the phone as I was pulling off! All this to say, this was a terrible experience! I wonât be back! Please, retrain this girl in...
Read moreMy wife ordered two pizzas around 1:20 in the afternoon, we did not receive our order until nearly an hour later. When we got to the location to pick up curbside, my wife called to let them know we were there to pickup. Upon notifying them she was told our order was coming out of the oven. After waiting for five minutes I went inside to see about the order to find out no one was manning the oven or the pick up location. All of the workers were crowded making pizzas. There was a backlog of pizzas waiting to be put into the oven. There was one pizza in the oven and none that had finished being made. After standing there for 10 mins someone decided place pizzas in the oven. After which she asked about my order which I relayed to her about what my wife was told on the phone, to which I found out that they were just placed in the oven. I returned to my car to wait as did most of the people waiting on To-Go orders. I went back in about 8-9 mins later, one of my pizzas was sitting on the counter and the other was already boxed and place aside. The workers continued to take pizzas out of the oven and place them in boxes or call people who ordered for dine-in, but the guy only spoke at a level where a person standing close by could hear, not the person sitting at their table 30ft away. Finally after standing there watching my pizza reach room temp and finally getting the guyâs attention was i able to inquire about my order. My pizza was correct but cold and my wifeâs order was wrong.
I like MOD, itâs really good pizza at a decent price, but the one here in Burleson is a joke out of the four times Iâve ordered from there something has always been wrong. When we lived in mansfield we would got to the one there all of the time and loved it. They need to send someone from mansfield to train the people...
Read moreFirst of all, I h had to take a bit to calm down before I wrote this review, as courtesy is not on the menu at this Mod location. The employee here are that helped the couple before my family and I chatted them up quite a while (I took it they knew one another) as the line grew steadily longer (during dinner rush no less). Then the real fun began. The (hope I use the correct pronoun(s) here)ponytail person that was trying to grow facial hair had to be told multiple times what sauce, what cheese& then after being asked three times for sausage and pepperoni on a pizza then skipped the sausage, said is that all and hurriedly put the unfinished pizza in the oven. This was my daughterâs pizza and I had to raise my voice to get their attention. This of course made everyone in the place turn and look and of course embarrassed my wife and two daughters. Not only is the service bad here but the pizzas were not fully cooked. Crunchy thin pizza is what everyone expects at Mod⌠after spending over $60 we did not enjoy, we left. A short distance towards Burleson proper we spied Pizza Hut where you can go inside. We will definitely take our sage advice and take our hungry to the Hut moving forward One redeeming thing here: their drink dispenser is clean and sodas taste as if they have their lines cleaned from time to time. Thought I should mention the date and time. This occurred on 8-22-22 approximately 7 PM. Management needs to do something or this will continue to happen and reviews will continue to be poor resulting in the closure of this location, which is a shame because Mod is a good concept and a good XP at most of...
