Hey, so I’ve had a quite a bit of experiences like this when I come to the shop and I usually let it slide but this time I decided to say something so maybe y’all can work on it. First off when I walked into the door, the young barista didn’t even smile at me. I tried to ask ask how she was and she interrupted me to ask what I wanted she had such a stink face like she wanted to be anywhere but at work and I understand it was probably a long day, but you can at least muster up a fake smile. You don’t have to be rude. Second of all, I ordered some type of sweet ice drink, and it tasted like they poured milk into a cup.. there was no flavor and this has happened quite a bit some days my coffee would taste sweet and good and then the other days I go get the same one and it has no flavor.. I think it’s because people are measuring wrong. I noticed y’all pour syrups into the cup and I think y’all need to get pumps or something so people can measure better because obviously people are all measuring wrong and that’s why my drinks always taste different when I come in. I actually had to go to another local shop and get more sweetener into my coffee because how bad it tasted.. I don’t like spending six bucks on a coffee that doesn’t even taste good. Y’all are such a cute little coffee shop and everybody’s usually really sweet when I come in n my coffees are usually amazing but there are certain people who always work and when I come in...

They've done some reorganizing/renovations that are headed in the right direction. So far the quality of the seasonal drink menu has been good and not too sweet. So happy to see this improving!
UPDATED 04/11/2024: The Blend has been a solid downtown staple for 10 years now, but since new ownership took over it's slowly gone downhill. I heard a rumor staff wasn't getting paid, now it's all new people in there. Although the new baristas are perfectly fine, the quality of the drinks and so-so (often too sweet) and worst of all the atmosphere is crap. I used to love coming into a clean, minimalist place to read, draw, or work while I sipped a good drink, but now theres decor and cheap things creeping in, making the place look cluttered. They're also publicly hosting religious events, which personally I don't want to be confronted with at a business. I don't care if you're religious, but if your establishment starts to brand itself that way, I'm not interested in spending my time there.
OLD 5 STAR REVIEW: Consistently good coffee. The seasonal specials are always on point. The Barristas are pleasant, communicative, and work pretty quickly even when the place is overran on the weekends or during events. Plus, the place is cute and cozy without being too...
Read moreIf I could give an extra star for atmosphere, I absolutely would! The people are lovely and personable and make sure every customer leaves satisfied with their entire experience. From the rustic industrial accenting to the modern chic furniture, everything feels vibrant and cozy in a way I can only describe as glowing. Their furniture layout allows a variety of different spots to sit depending on your needs. My boyfriend and I wanted a quiet spot to assess the room and our seats were comfy, Feng shui, and the perfect placement to feel tucked away. The drinks were delicious and full of flavor, not that watered down crap from McDonald's. The espresso was well balanced and their blueberry parfait was delectable! The last thing I noticed and MUST mention is their room separations. There are 2 main rooms of the shop. The first room is very bright and airy to encourage social activities and larger group sizes while the other room has dimmer lighting, softer music, and a more reclusive and focus inducing color pallet to encourage individual activities like studying or simply enjoying a cup of coffee in the lovely bay window seat before a long day of work. If you're in the area, I absolutely implore you to give this beautiful little shop a chance because it might just be your new favorite as...
