My family and I visited this restaurant tonight and had an incredibly horrible/aggressive encounter with the general manager. We were sitting outside and moved an umbrella over near our table to provide some shade to our toddler granddaughters, being that our table was the only one in direct sun without an umbrella to begin with. The general manager Tracy came quite literally running outside ripping the umbrella out of my hands and yelled "Im the general manager do not touch my umbrella." With no other explanation. I asked why we couldn't have it by our table and she stated again "I'm the general manager." I continued to ask why we couldn't have shade until the sun went down and she said "don't be rude." She then proceeded to say this is the city sidewalk and no umbrellas are allowed. She dragged the umbrella away while my granddaughters were crying saying "it's too bright" and all she did was laugh and have a smug look on her face like she was proud of what she did. We would have gladly moved the umbrella closer to our table or found some other solution but we were greeted with such aggressive behavior by Tracy that was unwarranted. As a manger you would think she would be there to help the customers and try to offer solutions instead of treating us like we were beneath her. We tried twice to go inside and talk about the issue with her but she proceeded to walk to her office and avoid us. A lady like this should not be in the role of a leader and I hope that the owners of this restaurant take action so this doesn't happen to another family. I've read other reviews of this place speaking about this same manager who would talk badly about customers standing just feet away from them. This review does not reflect the service of our waitress, she was amazing and went above and beyond. Unfortunately our visit was tainted by the aggressive and despicable actions of Tracy,...

Burlington beer works has to be one of my favorite place to eat/drink but yesterday afternoon I was disappointed. I was so excited to take my family to eat there for my dads birthday but I regret it completely.

When I called to make the reservations the host was super nice and helpful. We got to the restaurant at our reservation time and for the moment we sat down it went downhill.

To get our drink order it took a good 15 minutes and to get our drinks took another 15 minutes. The establishment wasn’t busy, it was moderate. We order appetizers that took the normal standard time. I asked the second server if she could please bring us some small plates since we were going to share to the appetizers we had ordered. Those plates never made it to the table. The third server we had didn’t even give us refills of our drinks. We ordered a Moscow mule and guess what we didn’t get it.

We went through three server to even get our food. My daughter and I ordered chicken sandwiches and the chicken fillet was burnt. I ate their chicken sandwich before and I’ve never seen their chicken fillet burnt nor oily as yesterday. My daughter didn’t even touch it and she loves their chicken sandwich. The fries were super oily and burnt as well.

I hate that I have to write this post because I enjoy going there for brunch. As a server to the public, customer services no matter how stress or busy an establishment is, is always important. You want to make people feel welcome. Yes we are Spanish speaking customers but we know English, we sure know about food, services and how the tip system works, if that even was one of the issue since we did go...

I know this place is new and I'd naturally just complacent but the heavy set bartender with glasses put a very bad taste in my mouth so I've decided to share it. I ordered the burger which was lack luster in itself. It only comes with sweet potatoes or mixed greens as a side. I asked to substitute french fries and I laid the word SUBSTITUTE on thick several times to make sure we were in the same page. Instead of telling me that there are no substitutions here he went on to ring in a $4 cup of fries and when I asked for the check he just quoted me a price and when I asked for a itemized ticket he was very hesitant to do so and I had to ask 3 times. That's when I find the $4 fries and when I confronted him on the subject he had nothing to say. Not even a "I'm sorry" as if he was taking it personally for intruding in his work area. After it was finally settled having to deal with someone that was actually helpful he just kept a smug look. Sorry you don't like me brother but I was very clear and you earned this establishment it's first 1 star.

UPDATE email went unanswered in response, and as far as "the effort" the manager gave was an effort to explain to me why I should pay for the servers mistake. I had to put my foot down before the...

We arrived around 7:00pm for their "St. Patrick's Day" party. The restaurant was clean and the staff seemed nice, but no decorations or anything. We asked about green beer (you'd think this would be a HUGE opportunity on St. Patrick's Day), but we were told that the brewer refused to make it (by the way, it's just 2 drops of blue food coloring in the glass before you add the beer, and it doesn't alter the taste whatsoever). So instead, we just ordered normal beers and we asked for 4 of their specialty menu shots (which were $5 each) called "Pot Of Gold". The waitress proceeds to tell us that they only made about 25 of them this year because they weren't a big hit last year, and they're now sold out. It's a Jello shot - virtually no food cost - but hey, let's have some dissatisfied customers instead. 🙄 Our waitress was great, but the food service was SSSLLLOOOOOWWWW, especially given the amount of people in the restaurant (we literally waited nearly an hour from the time we placed our order before seeing any food). The food and drinks were just OK, but WAY overpriced. With this place, it's one and done. 🤨

Went during lunch in between meetings. All four us got something different. The salad with chicken tasted well...like a salad. Decent amount of pecans just buried within Salad as well. The Korean chicken sandwich was okay. It was flooded with sauce and was a little bit too sweet. It was a hefty piece of chicken which I liked. The shrimp tacos were pretty good. Decent sized shrimp in each taco but overloaded with cabbage, had to take come out to close the taco. No complaints on the Philly cheesestake. Plenty of cheese melted just right. Staff was okay. Had to ask for refill twice before finally got it and took a long time to get our checks. Advice: The restaurant should consider having some paper menus since some people may not be computer or mobile phone savvy. One dining partner had difficulty with the qr code and getting the only menu. He asked for assistance and they brought him a tablet (why?).

10/2025 Update: A few things have changed. There are still few choices for vegetarians, but my server suggested swapping tofu for the fish in the tacos. I tried this and it was quite good (picture included). For some reason they still cannot make crispy fries. But the beer and service were great. 5/2025 Update: Well, my friends and I agree that it's really hit-or-miss here. Sometimes the food is great, other times not so much. My last visit was disappointing with lousy service and mediocre food. The mushroom pasta ($18) has a few cherry tomatoes, a couple of pieces of spinach, and several slivers of mushrooms. (Picture attached; zoom in and see if you can find the mushrooms.) IMO expensive for what you get. The beer is always great, though.
