Royal Gorge Helicopter Tours — Attraction in Cañon City

It was a new experience that ive never had before! Definitely a place to visit at least once in a lifetime is highly recommended. Amazing customer service. Very knowledgeable and informative on any question i had about the attractions. Coming from Canon City born an raised living there for 20 years (turned 25 in Sept) i have had my fair share of jobs that are tourist attractions myself and I enjoy seeing how much staff truly knows about the history of the area and why the attraction is an attraction in the first place and I am VERY IMPRESSED with the guy who flew us when we went. I took my husband for his 27th birthday as a surprise whos never flown in anything ever and it was the best thing he has ever experienced in his whole life and has been literally glowing ever since. Everything all around was amazing and i have absolutely zero complaints about Royal Gorge Helicopter Tours. The staff that was working when we went Oct. 24th 2021 and flew us when we showed up 30 mins early to our 4pm appointment deserves a raise 👏 🙌 👌 if i could rate more than 5...

So first let me say, the flights can be short or as long as you pay up to. Not sure how they got a 1 star for that but ok. We opted for the shortest tour as it is what we could afford. It may have been 5 min but the awesome pilot made it feel longer. Bottom line on that, we knew what we were paying for and it was an amazing flight. I wish we could have done a longer flight but that's not the company's fault. That said, the pilot was great to us and to my in laws that were here from the Philippines and it was a special treat for them! The kind girl that works the desk was more than helpful to my family.

Tip: The gopro videos are awesome i recommend getting them. If you do, you can focus your attention on the views and/or focus your own camera on the outside since the gopro is capturing you and your reactions.

Not only will we be going back asap, but we will be doing the Christmas lights tour with them out of the Springs in December. I can't wait! Thank you for a great day,...

UPDATE: The tour company called me after 48 hrs. They informed me that they had some technical difficulties and hence the delay. They did not mention anything about this review which made me think that they were sincere and apologetic with the situation. I received the video and photo after another 48 hrs or so. I guess I have to take back what I said about being a scam. Sorry. A good advice to you all is call them and leave a message if you don't get your video and photo. They also refunded my $20 !!!

I took this helicopter tour. It was amazing and scary too. Anyways, I paid additional $20 for the video and photo. They told me they will email it to me in less the 24hrs. But it has been 2 days- no show. I called them a couple of times and nobody is picking up. Left a voice message but no...
