Have not visited here for over 15 years. Today, I went by myself to use my new inflatable kayak. I had so much fun. Lake Natoma is a small lake along Hwy 50 and Hazel Ave. This is also close to the fish hatchery across Hazel Ave. Water was so refreshing to swim in 100+ deg. Family oriented, plenty of parking, boat ramp, beach with lifeguard (sometimes), bike trail, and Aquatics Center. I can't say anything about the restroom, since I did not use it. According to wiki, The lake is located within the Folsom Lake State Recreation Area which is responsible for maintaining the facilities and bike trails surrounding the lake. Fishing is also great here. No motorized boats allowed. Paddle board, kayak, canoe, etc Google before visiting. As of this review, parking is $10.00 per vehicle. $5.00 if you have a State of California Disabled Discount Pass.

Pretty nice park with a good view of the hills. Easy access just of of highway 50 & Hazel Ave. There’s an extensive trail system both paved & dirt for running, riding, hiking, or whatever. There’s a beach and picnic tables with BBQ’s. They also have water and flushing bathrooms. The boat ramp is great for launching you SUP, paddle board, kayaks, or small sailboat. There’s a $10 day use fee or you can buy the annual Poppy Pass for $120 and come all year. Across the water is the Aquatic center where you can rent SUP’s, kayaks, and sail boats. There’s separate parking for the Aquatic Center. I have been here many, many times, and will be back. Highly recommend.

Love this place! Great for young children and dogs. I love taking my dog paddle boarding here. The water is very calm and there’s a lot of shallow water for young children to play around in. Parking is $10. There’s always ample parking when I’ve gone on both weekends and weekdays. Love that there are life guards and also life jackets for those who don’t have one and would like to go into the water. The aquatic center is adjacent to this area so you can easily rent kayaks and SUPs too. There’s also picnic areas to BBQ which I saw a lot of people do with their families. Such a gem of a place!

This is such a neat place. If you like to paddle board, kayak, canoe or just lay on the shore this place is the spot. Has some really nice fingers and covers to go back into. Occasionally you'll even see some turtles... We like to meet up with friends to spend some time together on the water. If you don't have gear no problem there is a great little place to rent from ... A real gem that's for sure... Note from time to time the wind may pick up so keep that in mind if your traveling across the open water.. I give this place a 10

Awesome place to do some kayaking or sup. Water is pretty calm. No motorized boats. A lot of wild berries along the shoreline, free snacks! A lot picnic tables, it gets packed on the weekends. They have bbq pits, restrooms are really clean, well maintained by park services! If you dont have sups or kayaks, there's the Sac state aquatic center where u can rent them. They have life vest loaners near the lifeguard tower. A lot of wildlife that you can see by chance.. Don't feed the wildlife animals!
