The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced!! Went in with my husband today for TSA Pre-check. We were met at the counter by the staples associate Linda. She was extremely rude, dismissive and just plain out unprofessional. When we approached the counter she was attending another man so we stood about 8 feet away making line and she rudely snapped at us, DEMANDING we sit down while we wait. Once she was done she gestured us very rudely with her hands to come up to the desk. When I tried explaining my situation (recent name change due to marriage) she said she would not be able to assist me without my birth certificate even tho I had my passport, real ID and marriage license. My husband tried explaining to her and she so sarcastically and condescending turned to my husband and said “I’m glad you know what paperwork she needs”. She continued to dismiss me and abruptly waved me to move away from the desk and she would work on my husband instead. Once she was done with him she again called me over only to continue to say she can’t do anything for me because there’s no way she can prove I’m a legal citizen, even with my real ID and passport in hand. She continued being rude to me and my husband walked over and asked her if she wasn’t understanding what we were trying to explain to her and she yelled at my husband and again abruptly waved her hands at my husband and told him to walk away and step back. When my husband told her she was rude and had a bad attitude she smirked and said “yes I am, okay, okay”. At the end, she dismissed me and didn’t help me in any way and just overall gave us the most HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE experience. We immediately walked up to speak to the manager to report her as we were speaking with the manager Linda walked up again trying to argue her point to the manager. The manager asked her to stop and that she would be having a conversation with her after that. The manager was very sweet and understanding. It is unbelievable behavior. It’s clear she has no respect for customers let alone management. This lady needs to be removed, she lacks customer service and professionalism. She does not allow you to get a word in, she rudely interrupts and believes she knows it all. I have never felt so disrespected by a customer service associate. I will be...
Read moreI decided to come to this staples in Camarillo early Saturday 7.5.25 to make my amazon return and get some office/school supplies. I decided to make my Amazon return first to free my hands then go back and do my shopping. I got in line first with one item to return then a Second Lady came (with staples merchandise - a handful 5-6items) and a third one with Amazon box. Staples staff came to the counter and asked the lady behind me to come forward. Lady behind me told the cashier I'm ahead of her but staples cashier insisted she should go first. The second customer and I were confused why she is being asked to jump ahead of me. Staple cashier went even further by asking me if I have a problem. I was caught off guard with what the staple cashier asked/ told me (and I was still trying to make sense why l was skipped). Finally another staple cashier came up and helped me and I asked if staples customer gets priority over Amazon return customers because if it is then I want to maybe make my returns at another place like UPS or Whole Foods etc. Staple cashier #2 said no (quietly). At this point I was annoyed I was skipped for no clear good reason. We all have things to do so l don't think my time is less important than the person behind me. It was hard to not be insulted by Staple cashier #1. When I got to my car I called the store to speak with a supervisor or manager and duty. Staple cashier #1 answered and said she is the supervisor on duty. I politely asked for another supervisor or manager. She placed me on hold and I was transferred to staple cashier #2. I was told staple cashier 1 and 2 are both supervisor on duty and no manager. When I told cashier #2 what happened he said he is sorry I am upset ! was helped after all. I told him that was not the point. I was first in line and my time is equally important as the second customer. This left a bitter taste in my mouth. I even thought of getting my supplies at staples (than Walmart or Amazon), bring business to Staples so hopefully it doesn't go under like other big stores like JOAnns but obviously these cashiers don't care if they have a job or not. Never going back to this staples.!! Cashier #1- name is Susi/Susan. Cashier #2-name is Vince/Vincent. I’m going to let Amazon know Staples is not a good option for...
Read moreI believe there is racism at this staples. My husband and I are Latinos, we went in with our two month old baby for our TSA pre check appointment on Saturday 09/30 at 10:30am and from the very beginning the lady handling this area (who was white Caucasian) was very rude from the moment she saw us and checked us in. My husband went in first and there was some paperwork he was missing so she simply said she couldn’t help and disregarded him. He asked for other options or more information on what he needed to bring and she told him he needed to be a US citizen which isn’t true because as a permanent resident he can also get a TSA pre check. My husband became very upset and told her she was being very rude and she called security and her manager to tell them that he was the one being rude to her.
We explained what was happening to the manager (who is also white Caucasian) and instead of de escalating and apologizing for this employees’ attitude, as any decent manager would, she excused the other ladies’ attitude as if it was ok for her to treat us badly and she stayed there looking at us and protecting the other lady like a bodyguard as if we were going to do something to her just for expressing our discontent and standing up for ourselves.
When it came time for me to go in for my appointment, I also told the manager how her employee was rude to us from the beginning to which she didn’t respond a thing. The first lady was a whole different person with me, she acted sweet and even smiled at me just because her manager was standing there.
It didn’t seem like she was just having a bad day and taking it out on the customers, it seemed like a case of racism because the guy before us was white and she treated him nicely. The guy after us was Indian and she was rude to him when she checked him in as well but as soon as the manager stepped in, when it was his turn right after me, she was also...
