A lot of money clearly went into this park and it’s got great ideas, but poor consideration around how the different areas interact with one another makes this place a dirty, chaotic mess. The spongy hardtop material forms a nice hill, but the sand next to it makes the sides extremely slippery. It’s very easy for someone to slip and hit their head on any one of the hard elements. It was clumsy enough with the mulch, sand, and spongy hardtop material, but check my picture of when water is added to the mix. Yuck! It seems no thought was given to how the water would be drained, leading to a mulch pond, which is unintentionally appropriate because it is next to a boat-themed climbing area. This park is what you get when you’ve got lots of interesting ideas but don’t spend the time to test how different elements interact with one another.
