Cambridge Premium Cinemas — Attraction in Cambridge

Decent little theater. We went on a Tuesday so the price was great at $6. Popcorn was pretty good but the soda was a little off, maybe something with the syrup mixture idk but not entirely undrinkable. We were in theater 4 which if I'm honest was more than a bit outdated and a little grungy and there was a pretty strong odor. Screen was a little dim and the sound was ok but not great, probably wouldn't want to see anything really fx heavy on that particular screen but about what you'd expect from an older smaller theater. I can't speak to the condition of the other 3 theaters but it looked like they were remodeling so hopefully they continue and fix the issues because the lobby looked fairly nice and clean. It's a small theater and relatively small theater chain that is celebrating 30 years in business this year. Currently, all tickets are $7, adult, child, matinee, night. They have self-serve popcorn and soda, and they offer a refillable popcorn bucket. They have a point card system. They have comfortable reclining seats. They keep it clean. The sound is good.

I've only been to matinees. Usually, it's a decent crowd. I have been told that night shows can be different, but i have no first-hand knowledge.

Overall I have always enjoyed this theater as I’ve been a regular since I was very young. I’ve never had an issue until today. I was met at the door by a combative employee who turned a non-issue into a night ruined. When I intended to leave the interaction I was met with even more hostility. The theater itself is nice, as are a majority of the staff, as a customer I would prefer to be greeted and treated with respect throughout my visit in the future by all staff.
