Well, a strange priest celebrated mass on Friday, Nov. 7. He started at 12:05 and flew through the Mass. It was more comical than sacred. We all were laughing at the end of the Mass in the parking lot. It was like a "drive thru" mass. Twenty minutes. Or, the "express mass", or, the "quickie mass". Thank goodness he is validly ordained, but come on guys, stoo the "my lord and my God" stuff at the elevation. If it's not written in the missalette, we shouldn't be saying it. Also, the entrance and communion antiohon are said by the people, notcqued in by the priest. And the "Lamb of God" should begin at the exact moment of the breaking of the host, by the congregation, not during the opening of the tabernacle.
