5 Stars – Genuine People, Incredible Pizza, and Real Community Vibes
The first time I stopped by A Little Slice of New York was about 6–8 months ago, completely by chance. I was passing through Camden on my way home to Burlington when I noticed the spot and decided to give it a try. I ordered two slices, and to my surprise, the gentleman behind the counter gave me two extra—four slices total, no questions asked. Not only that, but they were incredibly kind to my 4-year-old son, which always leaves a lasting impression.
Fast forward to April 1st, 2025—I've just moved to the Central Waterfront neighborhood, just a few blocks away from the shop. I called ahead and placed an order for a half pepperoni, half cheese pizza about 20 minutes before closing. When I arrived, both guys working were just as warm and friendly as I remembered. I shared my experience from months back, and one of them smiled and said, "Go ahead and grab a 2L soda—welcome to the neighborhood." That small gesture? It honestly made my night.
And the pizza? Absolutely top-tier. Flavorful, cheesy, just the right amount of crisp on the crust—and speaking of the crust, I actually ate it, which I never do. That says a lot.
This place isn’t just serving great pizza—they’re building community with every slice. It’s the kind of neighborhood spot that makes you feel right at home. I’ll be supporting this business for as long...

I don’t say this lightly: Little Slice of New York isn’t just a pizzeria — it’s a pilgrimage. From the moment you walk in, the scent of perfectly blistered crust and bubbling cheese hits your soul like a Sinatra song on a summer night. This place is New York, down to the last sesame seed.
But the real secret ingredient? Pete. This man isn’t just the owner — he’s the beating heart of the operation. He greets you like family, remembers your order, asks about your dog, your grandma, your job interview. He’s part chef, part stand-up comic, part neighborhood legend. I watched him toss dough with one hand and hand a crying kid a free slice with the other. Who does that anymore?
And the pizza? Fuggedaboutit. Crispy base, airy crust, sauce that tastes like someone’s Italian nonna whispered it into existence, and cheese that melts with purpose. Whether you’re devouring a classic cheese pie or going rogue with their “Sweet Chili Chicken Pizza” (trust me — it’s fire, literally and figuratively), every bite is a love letter to the five boroughs.
If you’re within 100 miles and you don’t stop at Little Slice of New York in Camden, you’re doing life wrong. Pete, you magnificent pizza wizard — never...
Read moreHello. Right to it,.. 1st. Making initial contact, rude phone manner. Tried to pay with credit card. Was informed it was against policy; pending manger approval. Approval granted. Now, I am told to hold because she was handling another credit card.😕 "I thought it was against policy"??? Maybe I was prejudiced because of the sound of my voice, "I am black man". Or possibly the address which I gave(right up the street). I felt disrespected. I ask, was I profiled.. I posted a pic of the pizza. I'm from North Jersey. This is not a New York slice. Tasted like ketchup was used instead of tomato sauce. Just look at the pic. The worst... Try a slice at the pizzaria in Delanco nj. Vinny's... Guarantee!, you never eat there again. Thank you for your time. Hopefully/maybe your experience will...
