Camden Diner — Restaurant in Camden

No, No, you do not want to eat here. Yes, the food is good, but this is not the best atmosphere to eat in. Right across the street is a methadone clinic, and many of the clientele come here to eat. It is the shady and/ or obviously high type that bother me. Also this restaurant has a dishwasher that washes all the dishes by hand. Sometimes they are very busy and all those dirty dishes are stacked up. They need to get a commercial dishwashing machine. They serve people who engage in risky behaviors like drug usage. Some of these people may be HIV+ , or have hep C. You need strong chemicals and good hot water to kill those kind of viruses and other germs. A human being washing dishes by hand could not handle the chemicals and hot water temperature that is needed to really sanitize their dishes. Most of the restaurants in that area are frequented by those who work at City Hall Camden , and other such buildings in the area. They seldom frequent this place on a regular basis. Perhaps they see things the same way I do, and prefer a more pleasant, and sanitary ...

Now called "Camden Breakfast" it was okay. I've only been here twice before,once years ago and the food was amazing, then a year or so later and it wasnt so good. Decided to give them another shot and stopped by with my son today. I got coffee, french toast, scrambeled eggs with cheese and bacon. He got pancakes and the same sides. The french toast was VERY tasty but thats about it. They slapped a piece of cheese on the eggs last minute (just a pet peeve of mines) with no seasonings and the bacon tasted like something.. other than bacon (old grease maybe) coffee was just hot brown water and the atmosphere isnt the greatest (and i live in Camden so thats not the issue) If i were to go back i'd just get...

Love their breakfast. I didn't even know their name was Camden SEAFOOD!!!! I've only ever done breakfast & its always DE- LI-CIOUS!!!!! I have a new appreciation for turkey bacon I NEVER knew it could taste so good!!! EVERY time we have to come to Camden, this place makes it worth it.
