A gorgeous area tucked away off M12. Filled with a ton of different trails, some very well maintained and others weaving through the woods. Many trails can be water covered or muddy if you come around any rainfall, but during the drier season, you should be fine with some boots. Some great views of the River Rouge, and plenty of wildlife including birds, squirrels, butterflies and dragonflies. A few benches along the way to stop if you need. Also, when heading towards Lilley, you can hear the sound of the power lines humming as you pass beneath them. Overall, a very cool, nifty, and enjoyable place to spend time hiking or biking!

Great trails. I take my 2 dogs here frequently. There's plenty of off beaten paths to avoid other people if you want. Stream is shallow and great for dogs to cool down. I highly recommend strong insect repellent and tick prevention for your pets. My dogs have had at least one each on them after each trip. I have had a few on me as well. Definitely wear pants regardless of weather if youre not sticking to the main gravel paths.

Seriously I love this place. We recently moved to canton from new Orleans and I love hiking or jus long walks or jogging and I found this gem. Let me tell you my first time was terrifying because this girl is a chicken and I watch criminal minds a lot so I had a log stick with me the entire time, but now I'm strong enough to handle it. Its beautiful views all around. I met friendly people as well.

A wonderful gem in Canton. I don't come here for the limestone path, I come here for the wonderful mountain bike trail. It is a bit hard to follow at first, but once you have ridden it a couple of times it's easy. They also have a great pump track that is going to be expanding soon. Hopefully they will be getting better signs that will help guide you on the trail!!! The trail is a little over...
