had originally given this shop a 5 star review. I had a wonderful time choosing my wedding dress. While trying on the dress that I said yes to, I was approached by one of the girls working and she has asked me to try on a beautiful veil. I loved the veil and thought it went perfectly with the dress so I said yes to both the dress and the veil on the same day and both was ordered for me by the sales associate that day. When I went to pick up my dress and veil a couple months later, I was told by the sales associate to leave my veil in its bag in the bottom of my wedding dress bag. She told me to wait until much closer to my wedding day so that way nothing could happen to the veil and it would not get ruined. I did as I was told and waited until the night before my wedding to steam the veil, only to realize I have been given the complete incorrect veil. My veil was supposed to be long to match the train of my dress and the veil I had been given was not even a quarter of the length it should be.
The morning of my wedding my sister called and began the conversation very calmly, informing the shop that my veil was incorrect. The conversation quickly changed when I was blamed multiple times for ordering the incorrect veil . We reminded the shop that I had nothing to do with the ordering of the veil because my sales associate ordered the dress and the veil at the same time. The associate ordered my dress and veil, not me. When my sister asked if the correct veil was at the store, she was told that it was. The only way we could get the veil was if a credit card was put on file so it could be charged. I overheard my sister tell them multiple times to please not charge her card because on Monday and that we would have the incorrect veil back to store. She told them MULTIPLE times if she gave them her credit card information, the veil would be returned on MONDAY morning.
Monday rolled around, and my mom took off of work to return the veil. When she got to the store. She realized that they were not open. Despite being told multiple times on the phone that the card would get charged so on Monday the vein will be returned, no one had informed us that the shop was not open on Monday. Yes, our hours are posted online, but we were specifically told that the veil needed to be returned on Monday so the card would not get charged.
I am now home early from my honeymoon to take the veil back today (Tuesday). After calling and informing the shop of this, I was only then informed that we had 30 days to return it (not at one point were we told this on saturday, even after my sister said it would get returned on Monday) After reiterating how completely upsetting this was handled, I did get an apology that was immediately followed up again with the blame being placed on me for waiting so close to my wedding. Once corrected that that was what I was advised to do I got another apology but then followed up by a complete lie that my sister cussed them out on Saturday morning. I overheard the entire conversation and my sister never once said anything inappropriate (her son was in the room And I’m sure there were no inappropriate words said) . They further drilled this lie in by saying she even said the F word at them multiple times, which again DIDNT happen. I am incredibly disappointed with how this entire situation was handled And how instead of having simple apologies, the blame was placed on me multiple times and lies were said.
After I did return the veil and requested some sort of written statement that the veils were returned and there were no cards on file, the manger on file finally gave me a statement and laughed at me as I was walking away.
This entire situation reflects VERY POORLY on this shop and should’ve been handled differently. I understand mistakes happen so when we called and calmly informed the veil they ordered was incorrect we should’ve been treated with kindness and respect. I am mostly disappointed with how everything was handled...
Read moreI said yes to the dress yesterday at Anna Christine! This review is based on my wonderful dress appointment and the full experience so far. I will update once my dress is in!
So I found Anna Christine bridal on social media almost a year ago and have loved seeing all of their posts and knowing they had dresses in plus sizes and from designers that fit my aesthetic for my wedding. I knew they were on my list for when I decided to schedule my dress shopping. I even messaged them on Facebook to see about when I should schedule my appointment just to make sure I’d have time.
I decided from everything that January/February would be my time to find my dress as the wedding is in November and I wanted plenty of time to not only get a dress in but have it altered. So I scheduled my appointment.
First, they sent out a great confirmation email and it even had a little survey you could do about your dress goals. That was awesome!
Second, the minute I got there everyone was just so friendly! I knew right away when Sophia introduced herself and sat down to chat with me it was going to be a great experience. Even with another bride in there they are small but spaced out enough that you feel like you have the place to yourself.
I discussed my budget and my wedding aesthetic with Sophia and she then pointed me to the dresses I’d probably most like and told me to look through and see what caught my eye. I handed her quite a few and she pulled some herself. There are some I liked but didn’t pull just yet (and didn’t need to because I found the one!) and we got started!
She helped me get into every dress and clip me in and then helped with getting out and over to the mirror. She was great to not overwhelm with opinions or push and everyone else in the store would just stop by and ooo and ahhh. Everyone in the store made me feel like a princesses and the most beautiful ever. I got to meet Anna, the owner, and she was so sweet. I had chose a lot of new designs to try on so they were all so excited to see them. I honestly felt gorgeous in every dress but gravitated towards the one. Once we felt like it was maybe the one they helped me with a veil and my shoes and some jewelry and it just cemented the feeling of YES!
Sophia walked me through the “are we saying yes to the dress?” Moment and I said YES! While crying of course. Not only was I the first person to try on the dress, but I said YES to it!
So we got my measurements and I put on my street clothes then we popped a bottle and celebrated! I cannot wait to come back to pick up my dress when it is in and I look forward to seeing all of the wonderful ladies at the shop again!
It was a fun, intimate, emotional, amazing experience. Everyone deserves a wonderful experience like the one I had when shopping for THE DRESS. I just know if you come here you’ll have an amazing...
Read moreI cannot rave enough about Anna Christine Bridal! There was a particular Morilee dress that I had been eyeing, and I called to ask if they had it in their store. I knew it was a long shot since the dress was a few years old. As I suspected, they didn't have it in store, but they said that I could pay $100 and essentially try the dress on before I bought it. The $100 would go towards that dress or any other Anna Christine Bridal dress I decided to go with. I worked with Madison the entire time. She is phenomenal! Everyone at Anna Christine Bridal is super nice and friendly, and they have amazing customer service! I went in, got measured, and ordered the dress. I paid the $100 to have that particular dress sent in. Before doing so, though, Anna herself helped to ease some of my nerves about how the dress would look by going to every corner of the store and pulling a total of four dresses and essentially layering bits of them on top of one another so that I could have an idea of what the dress looked like. They made sure to order the dress in my size and the length that would work best for my height. There was also the option to either order the dress unlined or lined, and I got to pick which one I wanted. When Madison found out that the ivory/ivory dress I wanted would take a few months to arrive, she called me to ask if I would be willing to try on the ivory/rose/nude dress instead, which would arrive a lot sooner. That's what we did, and the whole entire experience was wonderful! I tried on that dress and a few other dresses. Madison really listened to what I wanted and was able to understand and articulate things better than I could express. She even showed me what my dress would look like in reception lighting as well as natural lighting! I did ultimately decide on the ivory/ivory dress, so we sent the first one back, and the $100 I paid went towards my purchase of the ivory/ivory dress. When I went and picked it up, Madison helped me to pick out a veil that matched perfectly with the dress and was exactly what I was looking for in terms of length and not having a blusher. Believe me when I tell you that this is the only bridal boutique you need to go to when wedding dress shopping! You will not be disappointed at the quality of the customer service! Everyone there cares about you and wants to give you what you as a bride want and are looking for. They will help you pick out the perfect dress and accessories to match. They truly make your upcoming special day even...
