This park has been around for my lifetime(50). Its only managed to get worse & worse. The facilities are fine & there's room for thousands. HS ballfields are wonderful track meets xan be held there. Soccer fields, cross country, river access, little league, basketball court. So let's bottleneck the only entrance & exit with a 1/2mile asphalt speedbump to test your suspension & patience. Construction or potholes have always been at the entrance. Ambulance & emergency personal are allowed to use the HS upper entrance but only if someone is there to open the gate. RIDICULOUS redesign to only have one way in & out for anyone or emergencies. And the smell on a hot weekday for the kids changing classes at a 80yr old hs is wonderful coming from the sewage...

The trail portion is actually located past the furthest parking lot from the entrance (not where it is showing on the map) and is gravel-based for most of the way except the very back part. It is a bit difficult to see the river from the trail if there is any foliage, but there is one portion that has an open view near the beginning. There's also sports facilities that look to be open to the public as well. Believe there are also trails that go off the main one into more wooded areas, but did not venture on to those as it was muddy from...

The people who can be responsible & pick up after them (or what ever reason this is a thing) are suffering for not being able too being their pets. I won't come to this park (4 minutes from my house) because of this.
The litter bugs around these trails are worse than dog poop in my opinion.
Also what happened to the little playground? No fixing? Just tore it down. Cant say ill be back anytime soon sadly.
Attention to the first boy Scout bridge. It has a broken out board leaving quite a large gap.
