The two stars is for in-store shopping at the Canyon United Supermarket, which is always phenomenal, but this store's pickup leaves much to be desired. The first time I used the online ordering for pickup, I ordered a pet food I was really excited about because the price wasnt overly high, and the amount I was getting was fair, plus it was way healthier for my cat with an autoimmune disorder. They didn't have the size I wanted (11lb), so they replaced it with a single smaller bag(4lb). Normally, I'd have just dealt with it and gotten more later if I had to, but I had a problem with the pricing. Let me explain...they tried to give me a single four pound bag for $16 to replace an 11lb for $26? Seriously!? If I got two of the 4lb bags, its $6 more for 3lbs less! WHAT?! I'd rather you call me and explain or at least give me a chance to decline the substitute because that was, and still is, outrageous! That was over a year ago. Today I decided to give them another shot. I placed an order at 1:40pm to be picked up between 4 and 5 because my family was doing a dinner around 6/6:30. Apparently, 3 hours isnt enough time to put together an 8-item order of things that are dominantly found in the produce section, since I was getting stuff to make a salad, because it was 5:30 when my husband got there, called in to pick up, and was told "they didn't have enough time" to put it together, so my husband just canceled the order and went in to get what I asked for. Never again. If you want pickup, literally just do Walmart. United in Canyon isn't worth it, and Walmart is almost always ready on the early side of the pickup window, but never late. Or...
Read moreI need to share an incident that occurred during my recent visit to United Supermarket in Canyon, Texas with my Uber Rider, who is currently recovering from a broken ankle.
My Rider had her service animal with her during our visit, and we stopped by the Customer Service desk to obtain copies of her W-2 and 401K. Unfortunately, the Service Manager who assisted us was unhelpful and provided poor customer service.
The Service Manager informed my Rider that the store does not provide copies of 401K statements and stated that pets are not allowed in the store. Despite informing her that the animal was a service animal, the Service Manager did not acknowledge or address our concerns.
As an Uber Driver, I appreciate the information provided by Uber regarding pets and service animals. However, the lack of friendly and helpful service from the Service Manager was disappointing. Additionally, we experienced difficulties in handling the electric mobile cart, and the Service Manager did not offer any assistance, despite being present at the store.
I hope that this matter can be addressed and that appropriate measures will be taken to ensure that future customers receive better customer service.
Thank you for your attention to...
Read moreThis our local grocery. It is convenient, yet it is not. Be VERY CAREFUL when choosing items off of the shelves. On a constant basis, when I go into the store and choose items such as coffee creamer, yogurt, soup, salad dressing, water, mustard for example, well these items are expired! It gets ridiculous, when you go into a grocery store and all the items on the Shelf have expiration dates, and those dates are six to eight months past the date you're in the store. While all the people that work there during the daytime are generally very nice, including the management, the teenagers that work there in the evening are not so. If your debit card does not work because you accidentally put in the wrong PIN number, for example, immediately out of the young teenage girls mouth is YOU HAVE INSUFFICIENT FUNDS" and they yell it so the whole store can hear. So, am I happy with this store? NO, not really! Do I shop at the store? Yes, only because it is in my town and I don't want to drive 22 miles to the...
