It's a cute little mom and pop shop. It's also the only one in Carlisle. They have a moderate selection of items and nice seating arrangements. They do seasonal events for families. If you know what you're doing and want to have fun, it's a fine place to sit and paint.
However, in the 3 times I've been there, my pieces have been finished with marks of paint from other projects. My friend also had the same marks on her piece that she had spent hours working on fine details. I take before and after pics, I know our pieces were clean when we left them on the table. The marks are likely from putting the pieces on the waiting shelf too close together with the other guests that night.
3 out of 3 times in the last two years the projects weren't finished clean. Nice enough, but not clean. At least the mark is on the back side this time. Still a shame. Pictures are about 6 months apart.
Again, it's a cute space. Unfortunate the peices aren't handled with respect throughout...

There are multiple tables that seat 4 people at a time as well as separate rooms that I assume are for reserves parties. They provide brushes and paint. Just pick your object, take a seat at an available table and let your creative juices run wild. When finished, they fire the objects but not necessarily on the same day. We were there on a Saturday and the finished ceramics were able to be picked up on the following Thursday. I found it a fun way to spend a couple of hours with the grandchildren. I would...

A wonderful selection of pottery to paint or glassware to design and very creative ideas for children (movie and painting). They have off site adventures as well as in the studio and if you stop in when Jim is there, you will get a very informative history lesson on the area. Do not forget to stop in the adjoining area at Gilded Door for oil and vinegar samplings(do not forget to buy some to take home) too. When visiting with family, on date night, or just some alone time...they have...
